8AA Breakdown
The more I looked into things and the more players started to emerge, it was clear that East Grand Forks, Barnesville, and especially Wadena-Deer Creek should be teams that could make a run. Barnesville knocked out Perham last season in the sections plus return key pieces, EGF returns three all league players, and Wadena-Deer Creek has been building for this season since they saw these upperclassmen as little kids. Sure Perham, Thief River Falls and DGF are good programs that can’t be counted out but they have some spots to rebuild. Hawley will remain solid as well Pelican Rapids who could have a special year if Guler has recovered to near 100 percent.
