Luke has been showing that he is a full time big outthere on the floor for Juan Diego. He is a throw-back type of player that doe sthe little things like get tips or kick the ball out and overall he has improved. While only being a junior we expect a lot of growth with so much more playing time. He has the ability and skill to be a true double-double machine. He can play with his back to the basket and he can also face-up, he is a threat out in the perimeter and he will only get better with the way the players at JDCHS rep.
Owen has been impressive this offseason as he had one of the best games we have seen from a middle tier kid in a long time as he lit up everyone at the WCE Elite Camp when it was down here in Utah. Not only does Owen have an outside jumper as his foundation but he has really worked on his handles and ability to run the PG position. Bingham is currently loaded with guards that play at a high level but with his ability to shoot he might just be getting ready to get in there when he does hear his name being called. His ability to make shots in a catch and shoot has always been good but the improvement he has shown off the bounce making jumpers is impressive. Regardless what level he plays he should see improvemnt in his game.
Small school kid with a big time motor. Although he might be just 6’0 tall or a tab bit shorter he plays with so much energy and he gives it his all that he plays bigger than he is and it is something that stands out right away. He is out there trying to haul in every rebound on defense and he crashes the boards on offense and when he does not get a board he runs back in a sprint thta makes you pay attention. He is a D3 type player that hustles and defends. Handles the ball well and he is a willing passer. To add to his praise he moves very well away from the ball on off ball screens or just simple basket cuts.
This kid can score the ball and with him being under the radar a bit he is going to surprise a lot of people. He is lanky and has a solid wing-span that allows him to cover ground defensively when he is keeping defenders in-front, he can also contest with that wingspan as well. Not afraid to mix it up and rebound and when he does snatch a board he can turn into a lead guard and push the tempo. Look for Kianu to improve his game this season as he could be a secret weapon over at Hunter as they look to improve.
Highlights
Aaron is a load inside and he runs the floor well, when he gets deep paint touches he is one of those players that is just hard to defend. The dual sport athlete is tough to stop and he uses that physicality on both ends of the floor. Look for this season to be a year that he improves his stats all-around.
It might be that time when this kid makes the leap and shows the added skill he has been working on this offseason. Trevor looks more locked in as he is expanding his game. He is still a very good attacking guard but his perimeter game is improving.
