The event was held from Oct. 21-22 and featured some of the top teams and players in the Southern California area. I was able to attend the event on Sunday, Oct. 22 and here’s a look at some of the top prospects I saw.
1. Brenton Banister – Santa Monica 2025
Banister was one of the better wings at the event. He’s a good ball-handler who can get to his spots in the halfcourt and is able to dribble against defensive pressure. He’s also comfortable with being the lead ball-handler and scoring threat. He can create his own shot and he has a little playmaking to his game as well.
2. Jasyre Robinson – AOSS Prep 2024
Robinson is an athletic wing who is looking to finish strong at the basket each possession. He uses his length and athleticism to extend and finish around the basket. Good activity on the glass. He can move off the ball as well making cuts and crashing the offensive glass. Good catch and shoot player from three-point range.
3. Anthony Minnoy – Grant 2024
Minnoy stood out for his activity on the defensive end. He’s a smaller wing, but he plays strong on ball defense. Keeps his stance low and keeps up with the ball-handler. Offensively, he brings the ball up court and can get the team into their sets. Solid off the dribble game. He reads the defense well and reacts.

– Crean Lutheran 2024
Luksas is a good post prospect. He catches the ball high in the post and keeps the ball high. He’s patient in the post, getting good position and sealing his defender. Has a little jump hook. He passes well out of the post if the shot isn’t there. Active along the baseline, cutting and being in position to score.
