Rob Brown III | G 6’0 Springside Chestnut Hill
Earlier in his high school career, Brown III was a dual-sport athlete, bringing tenacity and physicality from the football field to the court. But the recent decision to focus on hoops this fall is paying huge dividends for his game. For one, the instincts he always showed on defense are now popping on offense. Brown III’s improved processing for when to move the ball, when to cut, and where to relocate don’t show up in the stat sheet. Yet, they are leading to wins. His assists and threes are going up too.
Yadiel Cruz | G/W 6’3 Reading
Cruz was an undersized energy guy as a junior, playing hard, grabbing rebounds, and just making hustle plays. Still relatively new to the game, these fall reps are resulting in the Dominican guard’s rapid development. Cruz’s ability to play in half court is catching up to his propensity to impact the game on the glass and in transition. He can effectively slash and cut to the basket. And when he gets there, he has the skill to finish over or around defenders. Cruz should be a double-double machine by the winter.
Sadeeq Jackson Sadeeq Jackson 6'0" | CG Pottstown | 2024 State PA | G 6’1 Pottstown
After leading Pottstown to the PAC6 semifinals as a junior, Jackson’s game is taking another step forward as a two-way guard. He’s an aggressive defender who can gamble for steals. But he can really sit in a stance at the point-of-attack and lock down opposing guards. Jackson is progressing as a lead guard. He’s leveraging his quick twitch to create advantages and get two feet in the paint. When he gets there, he’s an able scorer and a willing playmaker.
Myon Kirlew Myon Kirlew 6'0" | CG Norristown | 2024 State PA | G 6’2 Norristown
Kirlew is turning the corner developmentally under the new coaching staff. His agility, burst, and attitude make him a formidable on-ball and team defender. He’s assertive on that end, taking the toughest matchups and trying to be as disruptive as possible. On the flip side, Kirlew is an avid slasher. He has the bend to get around defenders after he beats them with simple dribble combos and the mental toughness to make & take big shots in crunch time.
Jaden Murray Jaden Murray 6'7" | PF Archbishop Ryan | 2024 State PA | F 6’6 Archbishop Ryan
Making the most of September, Murray justified his division 1 aspirations. He showed out at every event his team participated in, including two games at the CoBL Interstate Shootout without Ryan’s centerpiece Thomas Sorber Thomas Sorber 6'9" | C Archbishop Ryan | 2024 State #58 Nation PA . Murray pulled down boards, battled in the low post defensively, and rolled to the rim offensively. But what turned the most heads was his jumper. He’s made threes in spurts before. This time around, he was hitting 2 or 3 every game. That capability to be a rum-runner and a floor spacer are significant.
