Preseason Player of the Year: 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1951796' first='Caleb' last='Haack'] (Iowa Valley)

Take your pick between Haack and any of the three Keota standouts for this honor. Keota is the best team in the division and should win it fairly comfortably, but Haack is the best individual player because of his ability to impact the game on both ends.

First Team

2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1951796' first='Caleb' last='Haack'] (Iowa Valley): 19.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.8 steals, 3.9 blocks

A mobile 6-7 big man who has great timing and instincts as a shot blocker, Haack is also a really good interior scorer and rebounder who does a great job using his size and athleticism to control the game on both ends of the floor.

2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1376716' first='Sawyer' last='Stout'] (Keota): 18.0 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.2 steals

Stout (pictured) is a volume scorer on the perimeter who is capable of having explosive scoring nights when the shot is falling. He provides some secondary playmaking in the backcourt for the Eagles as well.

2024 Cole Kindred (Keota): 12.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 2.0 steals, 79.4 FT%

A talented lead guard who does a great job getting his teammates into the right spots and putting them in positions to succeed, Kindred is a pure point guard who looks to get his teammates involved first, and then score second.

2024 Evan Vittetoe (Keota): 11.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 1.8 blocks, 56.9 FG%

The interior presence for the Eagles could average a double-double as a senior. He has soft hands and a big, physical frame that he uses to dominate the glass and the painted area on both ends of the floor. He's an efficient finisher.

2025 Isaac Bruns (Sigourney): 13.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 2.2 steals, 1.4 blocks

A 6-0 guard who contributes across the board, Bruns is a stat-sheet stuffer who led the Savages in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, and blocks as a sophomore.
