Following are five game changing performances from the second session of the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo held just outside of Indianapolis this Saturday.
Josh Malloy Josh Malloy 6'2" | SG Munster | 2026 State IN 6-2 2026 Munster I’ll try to provide a game changing skill set for this section. Malloy provided game changing….. well how about everything? There were not many holes in his perimeter game. Did everything well. Not to make it too boring. He was a game changing shooter and ball handler. Got wherever he wanted on the perimeter. Was able to get his shot off with ease. Showed a clutch gene with a ridiculous deep fade away to send a game into sudden death OT. Also had a nice behind the back pass in transition. As I previously stared. Not much he didn’t do on Saturday. An impressive all around backcourt performance.
Jayce Swanson 5-9 2025 Evansville Reitz A new arrival in the Hoosier state. Transferring in from Gonzaga Prep in Washington state. Swanson provides game changing speed and playmaking ability. Appeared to be moving at a different pace than everyone else. While also showing maturity and playing under control. Coaches son— his father is an assistant on the University of Evansville staff. However more importantly, he plays like it. Doesn’t dribble into trouble or over penetrate. Good kick out passer who seemed to always have an escape valve. Covered a lot of space with a big power dribble in the paint. Helped to make up for the lack of elite size. Consummate pass point guard with excellent court vision.
Braylen Langley Braylen Langley 6'9" | SG Evansville Reitz | 2026 State IN 6-7 2026 Evansville Reitz While it took a game or two to get going. Langley showed the potential that is starting to garner big time recruiting attention already. The physical gifts are unmistakable. Has the “three L’s”. Long, lean, and left handed. With those attributes is always a presence at the rim. However also has the ability to stretch floor with a smooth and effortless release from beyond the arc. Langley has game changing physical upside. Is part of young group at Reitz that has potential to be special.
Jayden Ford 6-6 2024 Arsenal Tech Ford is the fully realized version of Langley’s physical potential. Ford provided game changing rim protection all afternoon. Did this with good timing and an impressive wingspan. As a veteran also did a good job of controlling and keeping many of those rejections in play. Also did a lot of nice things on the offensive end. I’ll cover those later this week within the team breakdowns.
Lucas Bragg 5-10 2026 Muncie Delta I won’t overthink or over describe this one too much. Simply put, one of the more impressive shooting performances I have seen in quite some time. Bragg provided game changing shooting ability from all over the court. Outside of the sheer quantity. I was impressed with the variety of looks. Did it from stand still shooting positions. While also hitting plenty on the move with a healthy dose of step backs sprinkled in. Not very big. However if he can shoot it like he did Saturday consistently. It might not matter long term.
