Morman had his smooth lefty game on full display. He scored in both half court and transition opportunities, and played within the flow of the offense. Mormon also made sure to do the little things like get back on defense and rotate to the correct spots. He is a player that doesn’t seem rushed with a basketball as he analyzes the defense and picks his spots effectively. Expect to hear Morman’s name alot this upcoming season.
Highlights
Zyon Lord
Zyon Lord
Lord impressed me with his ability to change speeds and pace. He has the ability to break down his defender, and create and make his shots often. He is the type of player that if you let heat up its a done deal. He has a knack for using his ability to get off the floor to shoot over defenders. Expect a big season from Lord at Salisbury prep, as he has potential to be a go to player at the college level.

James showed the ability to consistently get into the teeth of the defense, where he would finish through contact or use it as leverage to facilitate for others. He has a sturdy frame which allows him to take contact and not get bumped off of his spots. He also demonstrated the ability to hit the mid range to go along with this floater game. James will be big-time in the back court this season for Westminster.

Panagiotis was another player I was excited to get a look at against this level of competition, and he came to play. He demonstrated his ability to get all the way to the rim for finishers on either side with either hand. He was also highly effective using screens, and if the defense gave him too much space , displayed his three point ability. Panagiotis, while highly skilled is also a vocal leader, and has all the things you want to see out of a lead guard.
Hawkins showed why he is one of the best young prospects in the Northeast. The lefty combined size with skill, which he uses to both score of the ball and find open teammates in spots where they could get a bucket. Hawkins also showed the ability to get up above the rim for dunks, while also being able to hit three pointers off of the dribble. He does a great job remaining even-keeled on the court.
Jahi Whitney
Jahi Whitney
Whitney showed his ability to be an attack mode the entire time. He brought intensity on both ends of the floor, and brought his ability to score of the ball in punches and in the variety of ways. Once Whitney gets ahead of steam in transition, he is, very tough to stop as he has the moves in strength to finish to contact consistently. He can also heat up quickly from long range.
