One of the top camps on the West Coast for players looking to compete and get exposure. More than 200 prospects from all over the West Coast, at least 50 NorCal Prospects made the trip for this event. As always we’re looking to add newcomers to NorCal’s growing list of prospects. Here’s a few new standouts from NorCal that caught our attention.
Cole Johnson
Cole Johnson
He’s long with good hops, gives good effort working in and around the post area. He’ll get rebounds, blocks, and finish around the basket while helping to defend in the post with his length. He’ll finish some plays with dunks when attacking from the high post and baseline using a dribble or two. He hit a few 3’s, and he runs the court looking for put backs and dunks.
Brayden Bruce

He’s a long, and growing shooting guard with an improving skill set. He’ll use his dribble, a spin, and a few other moves that gets him points in the paint. He has a good jump shot hitting a few short jumpers and 3’s from the corner. At 6’3 he’ll help rebound. He runs the court, might finish with a dunk. We’ll see more of him.
The 5’10 point guard from Monterey has the tools to effectively run the point position. He’s an excellent ball handler and passer with court vision, he makes good decisions. He’s good in transition looking to pass it up, or set the offense. He’ll attack the paint with his dribble, finishing with floaters, and paint jumpers. He’ll hit short jumpers off the dribble.
Trestan Davis

He’ll add ball handling, speed and some scoring to his team. He has good quickness and lateral movement on the defensive side to harass ball handlers, and trap in full court. It was our first look at the playmaking guard. He’s a handler with a good first step on the drive, he’ll knock down the set 3, whip the ball around the perimeter.
JT Harreld

At 6’4 he’s long, with square shoulders, and still growing. He’s still developing his skill set. He had good close outs on shooters, he sets screens, then rolled toward the basket. He likes to spot up along the perimeters, and corners for catch 3’s, he hit a couple. He helped rebound, did good finishing his layup opportunities. We’ll keep an eye on him.
