NorCal brought a good number 2027 Campers to participate in one of the top camps on the West Coast for this age group. Here’s a couple of 2027 standouts from NorCal. They didn’t play in the top 2 games, but did catch the eye of PH NorCal going forward.
A long arm wiry guard did a lot of ball handling up top. He could be a point guard, he had good ball handling, he handled ball pressure, saw the court pretty well to make the long pass up court. He made good use of his big man u for screens to go by defenders, cuts, and moves to the basket, he found him posting up. He had good stop and go moves to get defenders off balance.
He’s a solid body combo guard who’ll give good effort on the defensive side of the ball. He has the foot speed and body to guard both guard positions. He took it strong to the basket in transition, didn’t mind the contact on drivers into the paint. He had good passing, and looked for his opportunity to score on drives.

He’s 6’6 with body and size but still in the development stages. He’ll have to trim down, muscle up, and improve his foot work for starters. With that being said, he has some presence in the paint on defense, he was vocal with teammates, made passes, set screens. He has good hands to receive, he’ll finish close to the basket. He’s on the Watch List.
At 5’9 Dixon is on the thin side with a long wingspan indicating he’s got more growth coming. He has a good understanding of the game. He doesn’t try to do too much. He’s a ball mover with good passing, he’s in constant movement without the ball on offense looking for open space to shoot a 3-pointer he can make. He has good balance to stop on the dime for jumpers. We’ll see more of him.
Highlights
He has leverage and lateral movement to stay on ball full court, he has the body to bump a bit to get handlers off balance. He’s a good ball handler with a good first step, and a few moves to get by defenders and into the paint. He has good speed pushing the ball up court, he found the bigs in the post, he’s a ball mover. He hit an open 3ptr.

He showed good quickness on both sides of the ball. He’s got a quick first step, and a nice crossover move he uses often to get into the paint from different angles for floaters, and paint jumpers. He’s a 5’7 player with quick hands, long arms, and lateral movement to get a few steals on the defense.

He has a good set of handles, he uses his bigs for screens, then a nice in and out move to freeze the defender and get into the basket for lay-ups handling the contact. He found open shooters on the penetrate kick drive. He has good lateral movement and the foot speed to stay on ball handler
