With a 16-11 record and many of their players returning, this group is looking to be dangerous in the 4A GMAC this year, and we saw a couple of their impressive players perform. Check out some of their standouts and my favorite players below.

Chambers shined as a combo guard that was dynamic, shifty and really attacked the painted area and mid-range at will yesterday. He’s an incredibly crafty finisher that is able to work through opposing defender’s size/physicality and negate those disadvantages while attacking the basket. Also has a smooth pull-up jumper he could get to at certain spots. Defensively was tenacious and caused problems for his smaller matchups with his size and length.
Clark is a big bodied post presence that has all the tools needed to be a college level prospect. He runs the floor well and has an athletic frame that stands out to me as someone that would excel at a D3 or NAIA school. He’s a capable lob catcher and excels playing off dump downs or in the dunker spot in general, waiting to recieve a pass from his point guards. Can impact the game defensively with his length and rebounding ability. Needs to increase his post-up game and general offensive versatility, but should be in line for a big year.

Wilson is a long, young prospect in the 2026 class that may be in line to break out on a local/regional stage this year. I immediately was impressed with him going right at Dylan Clark Dylan Clark 6’8″ | PF Mooresville | 2025 State NC despite the comparative size and length disadvantage between the two, and he attacked him well. He’s got the quickness to beat big’s hips as well as face up and knock down jumpers in the mid-post area. Athletic and can run the floor and switch on to smaller players on defense. Still needs some polishing but may be really good, really soon.
Parsley’s main detraction will always be his size, but his ability to knife through defenses and make plays for everyone around him more than makes up for it. He’s a blur on the court, constantly affecting opponents on both offense and defense with his scrappiness and quickness. He’ll pick you up from the baseline, poke the ball away, and lead the break to either finish or find his teammates. Will be excited to watch him push the ball and make plays happen on both ends this season.

Demby is a transfer in from Lake Norman with good size, ball skills, and physicality to play the wing for Mooresville. He’s got great positional size to go along with some long arms and impressive movement ability. Offensively, he really shoots the ball well, but can use his height and length to attack closeouts and get downhill towards the rim. Very switchable on defense, as I watched him fight hard against the bigger guys on the team as well as guard smaller guards. Should be an intriguing piece to watch out for.
