In this series, we will be a look at some quick hitters, the top player, potential breakout player, other roster roster members and notable games of the upcoming season. For today’s spotlight, we take a look at the Mishawaka Cavemen.
Quick Hitters
- Finished 20-7 last seaso.
- Lost to Hammond Central in Regionals
- Bodie Bender returns for 2nd year as head coach. 86-36 overall record in 6 years as a head coach.
Top Player: Rasauun Johnson Rasauun Johnson 6'2" | SG Mishawaka | 2024 State IN
Johnson is a 6’2 senior shooting guard that could be in a position for a breakout year. Immediately what stands out with Johnson is the upside he has on the defensive end as his length and shiftiness makes him very disruptive on the perimeter getting deflections and steals leading to easy baskets.. On the offensive end, he is at his best on the ball creating his own look which often results in attacking the basket and finishing at the rim. Should fill the stat sheet this season for the Cavemen.
Other Important Roster Members:
- Jackson Snyder
- Cooper Pritchett
- Tommy Harringer
- Anthony Nelson
Notable Games (Confirmed)
- vs Concord (12/15)
- vs Plymouth (1/5)
- vs Warsaw (2/1)
- vs South Bend Washington (2/3)
- at NorthWood (2/9)
- vs Penn (2/20)
