2025 Dailon is someone I’ve had on my radar for a while. His coach is extremely high on his upside and after this weekend it’s easy to see why. Dailon displayed some complete talents as a guard leading his team not just contributing to scoring but all around. He had a 12 point streak that brought his team back and it was the talk of the weekend. He attacks the basket with poise and finishes through and over contact. He’s also a potent midrange shooter which is so important in our generation where kids focus primarily on the 3 ball. His defense is key to him getting going, he plays the passing lane or will strait up pick your pocket and go the other way. Dailon contributed heavy as a sophomore and looks to be ready to lead this new face Big Tyme sports program that had a ton of success last year.

2025 Jaylon Brown Jaylon Brown 6’2″ | CG Pace Academy | 2025 State TX made his prep debut at Pace Academy who was already talented in the backcourt and I have to say he is the icing on cake. He got going about midrange through the first game after seeing his teammates trust and support for him to play his game. He is shifty shifty, staying in front of him is draining for most defenders and once he gets by you he can finish athletically at the rim. He also showed some strong defensive and 3 point shooting potential. He’ll be under the spotlight as an impact player all year for Pace Academy and should be worth a look for most coaches.
2024 PG Samuel Cole Samuel Cole 5’11” | PG Good Vision Academy | 2024 State TX caught my eye on accident. I like his unselfishness and patience running the offense at Good Vision Prep. I noticed when his team went a bit cold he turned up the offensive burners a bit knocking down multiple pull ups and 3 balls to get them back going. He also plays very well with his bigs which is a plus for coaches with dominant 4/5’s. I like his potential, his impact was huge in their win over Pace Academy.
Seems like every time I’m out I miss Solomon Bradshaw Solomon Bradshaw 5’9″ | PG Kingdom Collegiate Academy | 2026 State TX but hear nothing but good things about him. This time I made sure to catch him and he is tough especially to only be a 2026. Solomon is small and doesn’t try to be anything he is not, he’s mastered being a small guard already. His handle is quick and tight, he can beat you down the court every time. The motor seems unlimited as he continues to move quickly even towards the end of games when fatigue sets in for most players. Solomon is tough going to basket but his shot is what will carry him to the next level. He doesn’t miss many open shots period. His leadership is loud and vocal, what every coach wants from their PG1. He was able to reposition players on both sides and control the pace. I’m super impressed and can see his stock going way up only being a sophomore playing against this type of competition.

Karrter Ellis
Karrter Ellis
2024 Karrter Ellis is another small guard that makes up for his lack of height with his IQ. Defensively got after it frustrating guards much bigger then him. Offensively he was a key piece in a talented backcourt especially late in their second game win over university academy. He was able to balance the floor and put the offense in motion. He drained several 3 balls under pressure and way back off the line which is key for players his size. He also understands when to pull up for a short shot using his speed to make defenders over pursue. He was big this weekend in crunch time, make sure he’s on your radar.

2024 Oliver Aleem Jr. Is a hell of a athlete with some nice size on him. Besides being able to jump out the gym he showed some other abilities this weekend that make him must rotate type impact player. Energy is key, every time he checked in he came out running, pressing etc. even with a safe lead letting up was not on his mind. He was explosive at the basketball nearly dunking on a 6’9 center. The handle creates space and let’s him attack the basket or step back and take a jumper. He’s for sure underrated as far as 2024 prospects go and is going to be a steal for someone at the next level.
Michael Solaja
Michael Solaja
2024 Michael Salaja is a true point guard that gets whatever job needs to be done, done. Too dangerous in the open court he can whip a fancy dime or go up and dunk using his bounce. He had maybe the top dunk of the weekend against Dynamic Prep in PSAT’s big win. His impact on the team is easily visible and he checks all the boxes skill wise to play at the next level. Make sure he’s on your radar, he’ll have some tough matchups this year worth of checking out.
Donavan Gomez
Donavan Gomez
Donavan Gomez caught my eye putting the team on his back in game one. He was everywhere but made several tough shots from the outside and kept the game competitive. I also noticed the amount of tipped passes and hustle plays he had, some things just can’t be taught. Patience PG, someone I want to have the ball calling my plays offensively. He shot around %70 percent on the weekend and made a huge impact for his squad SN motion leading them offensively when in the game.
