Adam Rickman Adam Rickman 6'6" | SF Borgia | 2024 State MO (Silento Supreme): The 6’6 forward from Borgia was the top player that I watched during the day. The big lefty dominated the game I watched with his scoring and playmaking. He got to the basket at Will and set up his teammates with nice dimes on numerous occasions. He was also knocking down the 3-pointer off the bounce.
Trenton Minner (Team Hustle): A 6’2 guard from Mehlville who loved to attack the basket and he used his powerful body to get to the basket and score on tough takes. He didn’t mind any contact on his way to the basket, as he could get a bucket or a trip to the free throw line. He could also post up in the lane against smaller guards to score. He also displayed some explosive athleticism with a couple of impressive dunks in transition.
Chase Hall (Clopton): A 5’10” point guard who plays the game with a calm demeanor. He handles pressure well while staying under control and able to distribute the basketball to the scorers. He also hit a trio of open 3-pointers in the game that I watched him. He is also a solid defender who did a good job of digging down inside to get steals against opposing post players.
Joave Guerrier (Dangerous Alliance): A 6’2″ combo guard from CBC who plays with a tremendous motor, which enables him to stuff the stat sheet. He is strong on the drive and he does an excellent job of playing with two feet in the lane off the jump stop. He plays well off the ball and cuts hard to get layups. He is also an excellent rebounder and defender who’s capable of putting up a triple double.
Jason Brown (Team Hustle): A 2024 point guard from McKinley with good speed and quickness, which enables him to excel in the open court. He can get downhill and score with either hand on the drive. He has good athleticism and he can raise up and hit the pull up jumper in the lane. He is also an excellent on-ball defender who can provide good pressure.
Zach Urban (GAC United): A 6’3″ small forward from Fort Zumwalt West who was productive with his high-energy style of play. He’s a good worker who could get things done without commanding a lot of touches. He did an excellent jobs of crashing the offensive boards, where he either got his own putbacks or extra possessions for his team. He made good use of pump fakes to help his score around the basket.
Braden Eye (Parkway South): A 5’10” point guard who did a fine job of handling the offense and taking advantage of his scoring opportunities. He had a couple of nice thread-the-needle jobs that led to layups for his teammates. He also played off the ball well and he made a trio of 3-pointers in the game that I watched him.
