The consists of JUCO, post grad and private schools from up and down the east coast, as well as an Overtime Elite team too.
Here’s a look at part two of some of the high school and post grad prospects from VA teams that will be in attendance.
Owen Gray Owen Gray 6'10" | C Steward | 2024 State VA | 6’8” PF | Steward School 2024
Gray will have a chance to really boost his stock this weekend, as he’s on the radar of a number of division one programs and if he plays well like he has so far this fall we could see some of them pull the trigger. At 6’8” Gray is one of the best available bigs in VA as he is a good athlete who runs the floor and is explosive off his feet, he has touch out to the perimeter and he has a lot of tools that translate and should get better moving forward.
Donovan Richardson Donovan Richardson 6'6" | PG Steward | 2025 State #166 Nation VA | 6’5” CG | Steward School 2025
Richardson is one of the best prospects in the Richmond area as the 6’5” combo guard already holds a slew of division one offers and has played at a high level against big time competition over the past year or so. He has great size at the guard position and has become more of an explosive athlete over the past year, he plays with great poise and doesn’t get sped up and he is shifty while playing with good balance and creating shots for himself and others.
Xavier Nelson Xavier Nelson 6'4" | SF Steward School | 2025 State VA | 6’3” WF | Steward School 2025
Nelson is the x-factor for this Steward School team and has been very productive so far this fall, making a lot of plays in different ways and being a positive impact for his team on both ends of the floor. The long wing plays hard and does all the little things like make hustle plays on both ends, he is an efficient scorer who is always around the ball and he makes shots from multiple levels too.
Dakota Sellers Dakota Sellers 6'4" | SG Carmel | 2024 State VA | 6’4” WG | Carmel 2024
Sellers has been an under the radar prospect who could really impress college coaches with his explosive athleticism and high upside moving forward. The 6’4” wing uses his athleticism to rebound and make plays defensively, he gets out in transition and gets downhill where he plays above the rim with authority and he can knock down shots from deep off the catch when he’s open.
Chance Perkins | 6’1” WG | Highland 2025
Perkins sometimes gets overshadowed on this super talented Highland team that made the state championship game last year, but his ability to make shots is as good as anyone you’ll come across. He’s a dead eye shooter from deep with effortless range out past the NBA line, he is able to get to spots off a couple dribbles and hit the pull-up from deep and in the midrange and he gets hot quickly and is able to score it in bunches when he gets it going.
Julian Rivera Julian Rivera 6'1" | PG Highland | 2025 State VA | 6’1” PG | Highland 2025
Rivera is the floor general for this Highland group that will be one of the top teams in the state this year, and his impact on the game is as important as anyone on this team. He simply makes winning plays on both ends of the floor and his ability to defend the other team’s best player regardless of height is impressive, he handles pressure and makes great decisions with the ball in his hands and he scores it efficiently in different ways.
