Marvin Louis, HT 6’3, Class JR, Position G
Marvin’s best attribute is his abilities to score. He can score in bunches. Marvin has had multiple AAU games with over 8 three pointers made. He shot well at the open gym. He is a true three level scorer, and can can play at multiple speeds. Marvin is really good at creating separation from the defense. Marvin is not just a scorer, as he can also lock down on defense and get stops.
Desmond Bellot, HT 6’4, Class Sophomore, Position G
Desmond is a skilled guard, with a high basketball IQ. He can be a scorer or a facilitator. He makes players around him better, and can score at three levels, and in bunches. He is a shifty player, who can shoot well, or finish at the rim. Desmond is a playmaker, and does so without forcing the issue. He does a good job reading the defense, and taking what the defense gives. It’s tough to say if he is more skilled on offense or defense. Defensively he is a lockdown defender, moves really well, and gets a bunch of steals. Desmond has been getting interest from a few division 1 colleges, and I expect the interest level to get bigger this season.
Julien Kabori Julien Kabori 6'10" | C CATS Academy | 2025 State New E , HT 6’9, Class JR, Position W/F
Julien is a versatile 6’9 player, that can move well, and handle the ball well for his size. His combination of length, athleticism, and the abilities to play inside and out, I think gives him a chance to play at high major division 1 college. He impacts the game in many ways, and sometimes it may not show up in the stat sheet. He can finish well above the rim, and has good hands grabbing the rebounds. On defense he is a very good shot blocker from the weak side, and his length will cause problems for opposing players down low.
Joshua Ojuri, HT 6’5, Class JR, Position Wing,
Joshua is a very athletic wing, that can finish way above the rim. He is not just athletic, but he is skilled and plays under control. He can beat the defenders off the dribble, or find the open man when the help defense collapses on him. He is aggressive and physical on both sides of the floor. Joshua has a lot of upside to his game. He currently holds offers from Bryant, Albany, and Manhattan collage. I think he will get more offers this coming season.
Stephen Antwi Stephen Antwi 6'5" | SF CATS Academy | 2026 State New E , HT 6’3, Class Sophomore, Position CG
Stephen will be a nice new addition to the CATS program, as he just moved from Ghana. He is a very athletic Combo Guard. His skill set is a little raw, but he should really develop well with the program. He has a lot of potential. You may not know who Stephen is now, but by the end of the season, he will be a player on your radar.
