There were 20 teams of 8-10 players on every team. Of the 180+ or so, there were 13 local players who participated.
Here is what I saw:
TJ Harris TJ Harris 6'0" | PG Paradise Honors | 2026 State AZ Paradise Honors (Pictured)
A scoring PG is quick on quick. He sees the court and will throw the dime. He handles the ball well with either hand and makes plays. He actually uses his left hand a lot. He can pull-up from mid-range and rattle in threes. He has a polished runner and uses his speed to drive by his defenders in traffic. He is very quick in the passing lanes on the ball defensively.
Miles Sadler Miles Sadler 5'11" | PG Canyon International Academy | 2026 State AZ Canyon International Academy
A PG who has a yo-yo handle with elite court vision. He sprays the ball around to his teammates up the court and with drive and kicks. His speed and change of direction is next level stuff and so is his quick first step to burst by his defenders. He will pull-up from mid-range and hit the three. He is also a ball hawk on the defensive end.
Noah George Noah George 6'3" | CG Canyon International Academy | 2026 State AZ Canyon International Academy
A bigger guard is starting to play more on the ball. He is turning more into a lead guard as he is aging. He moves the ball well and wants to facilitate. He will pass it up ahead and has a shifty handle. He will score on drives with either hand in the lane. He can pull-up from the three and has a spin move in the lane. He is also quick on the ball defensively.
Nnamdi Ogali Nnamdi Ogali 6'8" | C Canyon International Academy | 2026 State AZ Canyon International Academy
A thicker post player with decent size and girth. He uses his sturdy frame and rebounds well in his area. He can throw it down on the break but plays mostly under the rim. He runs the court and can score on put backs.
Rokiem Green Rokiem Green 6'3" | SG Canyon International Academy | 2026 State AZ Canyon International Academy
A well built guard scores it from all three levels. He can hit the three off the catch or pull, euro step to the basket thru contact, pull-up or fall away from mid-range. His tighter handle and changing speeds allow him to create separation. He plays with a motor on defense to rebound, blocks shots, plays the passing lanes and his on-ball defense is very good.
Ikenna Alozie Ikenna Alozie 6'3" | CG Dream City Christian | 2026 State AZ Dream City Christian
A freak athlete to throw it down way above the rim but he also has next level speed. He had multiple downhill drives which led to shocking dunks in traffic. On one occasion he jab stepped into a dribble drive and threw it down with his left hand on a 6’8 post player. He also elevates high on his jumpers from mid-range.
