Banks Pourchier Banks Pourchier 6’7″ | PF North Oconee | 2026 State GA was the story of the day on Saturday and his name quickly circulated amongst coaches in the gym. The 6’7 sophomore has a great build and some decent springs too, used them well when finishing through contact or rising up for a dunk. He also showed the ability to step out and knock down threes. Most importantly, Pourchier has a motor that can go. While Saturday provided my first in-depth look at him, Pourchier has the makings of a D1 stretch forward.
JJ Winston JJ Winston 6’3″ | SG Rome | 2026 State GA is a name we’ve been seeing more and more frequently ever since his big summer with Wood Elite. On Saturday, he brought his A game and showed out for a number of evaluators in attendance. Winston’s athleticism is eye-opening and he threw down a handful of dunks on Saturday. He’s also a skilled ball-handler and can shoot it from all over the floor. The future looks bright for Winston as he’ll fill out a slender frame and learn under the wing of Jayden Foster this year.
O’Davion Thompson
O’Davion Thompson
It didn’t take O’Davion Thompson long to catch my eye, a 6’6 wing out of Discovery High. Thompson displayed some great versatility, willing to battle with the bigs inside while also showing a level of comfort on the perimeter. Right now, Thompson’s strongest quality is his defense and that ultimately landed him in the Top 20 game. He’ll definitely be one to keep an eye on at Discovery this season.
Zane Pasley
Zane Pasley
Zane Pasley was a new name for me heading into Saturday but he’s certainly on my radar now. Pasley has an advanced skillset for a player his age, a nice handle and a deadly stroke from beyond the arc that fell on multiple occasions. As Pasley grows more confident in his skillset, he’s going to become even more of an offensive weapon. Cedartown may have a good one on their hands.

Prestin Smith Prestin Smith 6'0" Cartersville | 2027 GA
Despite being one of the only freshman in attendance, Prestin Smith Prestin Smith 6’0″ Cartersville | 2027 GA held his own on Saturday. Smith showed no sign of fear, slid right into his role, and played it effectively all afternoon. Whether it be knocking down open three-pointers or finishing transition breaks, Smith was ultra-reliable. Cartersville is putting together an interesting group of youngsters and Prestin Smith Prestin Smith 6’0″ Cartersville | 2027 GA should play a role in their success over the next few years.
