Frey is an athletic and strong wing who has taken some big steps this summer and made a lot of noise on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Able to throw it down in transition, Frey has the bounce to get above the rim on the fast break. His ability to drive to the basket and finish over smaller defenders made him tough to stop in transition and his strength allows him to grab loose balls and make a defensive impact. A capable shooter from the outside, Frey has shown improved confidence from long distance over the summer. Expect a big scoring bump for Frey as a senior with some small college interest coming soon.

Canton McKinley always has impressive athletes and Moody is no different. Able to play on or off the ball from the wing guard position, Moody can attack a closeout or knock down a jumper if you give him space. Moody had a strong weekend at Midwest Live and will look to build on that momentum in an always tough Federal League this winter.

Kante got on our radar after an impressive showing at the 270 Hoops Prospect Camp. This came in the summer after a Junior season where he averaged 10.3 PPG on 45% shooting from the floor. An impressive slasher and playing with a high motor, Kante got points because he simply outworked his opponents. This motor translates to the defensive end where he averaged .9 steals and .6 blocks per game, expect Kante to be well over a steal a game this season. With his physical tools, motor and developing jumper that hit 48% of his 37 3-point attempts last season, Kante could be a breakout candidate in the Cincinnati area this winter.
Ohio United had a good core of small college prospects and Bowden got on our radar with strong performances with that group and with Marysville in June. A physical wing who isn’t afraid to use his strength to outmuscle opponents, Bowden plays with an edge on the court. A capable passer with either hand off the live dribble, his lefty skips were one of his most intriguing plays he made consistently. Expect Bowden to play a key role as Marysville looks to take the next step with a strong senior core.
