Calvin had one of the best performances I saw all day and has solidified himself as an elite prospect in the state’s 2025 class. He is an all-around scorer who was getting downhill for tough finishes, as well as pulling up from the perimeter off the dribble. He also forced some turnovers on the defensive end, leading to some easy scores on the other end.
Highlights
Kendre attacked the rim very aggressively in the action I saw and was a problem for opposing defenders. He is not afraid to absorb contact around the basket and has great body control which allows him to make some finishes. I also liked what I saw out of him as a playmaker, being able to get his teammates involved. Fields came away with some steals on defense as well.
Anderson had some unique ways he was creating looks for himself, showing off his full scoring arsenal on Sunday. He liked to go to his pull-up jumper in the mid-range, not needing a lot of space to get his shot off. He was a threat from three as well, looking comfortable shooting off the catch. I also saw him convert on some strong takes to the rim, incorporating different ball fakes to gain some separation.
Highlights
Malik was an offensive weapon for his team and showed what he could do scoring the ball. He looked confident whenever the ball was in his hands and kept the defense on their toes with his ability to score from different areas on the floor. He was getting downhill for contested layups inside and was also a threat to connect with looks from beyond the arc off the catch.
Highlights
The trait that stuck out to most about Gavin’s game was his rebounding. He was cleaning up on the boards on both ends of the floor, as I once saw him grab two teammates’ misses on the same possession. Roderick also knocked down a pull-up three in the action that I caught.
Noah has solid size for a wing player and was able to stretch the floor for his team. He looked super comfortable hitting looks from beyond the three-point line off the catch. Robinson used his long and lanky frame to get his hands in passing lanes to force some turnovers as well.
Nathan was doing a lot of the little things when he was in the game, giving maximum effort on every play. I saw him flying around, chasing down rebounds on both ends of the floor. He was not scared to take a charge either, putting his body on the line for an extra possession. Weiss did well boxing out larger defenders as well.
Highlights
Soren was a major contributor when it came to ball handling and getting plays started. He played extremely unselfishly, making the extra pass to turn a good look into a great look. He also came away with some rebounds, where he would get a chance started with a heads up outlet pass.

Justin has solid size for a post player, using his strength to make a difference in the paint area. He set some solid, strong screens, opening up some space for other players to create chances for themselves. Stoneburg also got downhill for some aggressive takes to the basket that I saw.

Parker showed what he could do attacking the rim and made some plays creating for himself off the dribble. I saw him take his defender baseline where he stayed under control for a finish through some traffic. Parker is going into his senior season at Coon Rapids.
