Each player competed in 5 games for the two days plus 60 competed in an extra All-Star Game. (Top-20, Top-40 and a Non-Senior All-Star Game)
We start breaking down each team.
Last group up is Team Washington State
Zachary Jiggens Zachary Jiggens 5'11" | PG ALA-Ironwood | 2026 State AZ EVAC
A throw back pure point guard make players around him better. He changes speeds and directions well. He can fall away from mid-range and his three point stroke seems to be evolving more. He made the Non-Senior All-Star game and is one of the better small school sophs I have viewed.
Lex Clontz Lex Clontz 6'3" | CG Cesar Chavez | 2025 State AZ Cesar Chavez
A bigger combo guard with a huge IQ who can score from all three levels. He is tough in the paint and can make plays. He will rebound and cuts when you should to score. He can step back on his defender with a quick release and uses the floater after he hesitates to get to the paint. He can hit the three and has a mature game. He made the Top-20 All-Star game.
Blake Colvin Blake Colvin 6'1" | SG Sandra Day O'Connor | 2024 State AZ Sandra Day O’Connor
A true specialist is a three point shooter. The sniper gets his feet set quickly and squares up to the basket and lets it fly. He constantly moves without the ball to free himself up to get open to shooting it. He plays a smart brand of ball and is a true team player.
Joshua McManaway Joshua McManaway 6'3" | SG McClintock | 2026 State AZ McClintock
Another pure shooter from the three point line is Joshua. He is slowly evolving other parts of his game with ball fakes and will get to the basket with a sneaky burst. He uses his size inside to rebound and score and makes good extra passes to teammates and rarely forces the action. He made the Non-Senior All-Star game.
Andrew Maier Andrew Maier 6'3" | PF Hamilton | 2025 State AZ Hamilton
An undersized power forward who is shockingly athletic. He can dunk it over a defender which seems to be springs on his feet. He plays with a huge motor to rebound in and out of his area and will keep possessions alive. He is a good passer and plays hard thru contact. He scores most of his points around the basket. He made the Non-Senior All-Star game.
Zach Cutler Zach Cutler 6'3" | SF AZ College Prep | 2026 State AZ AZ College Prep
Another three point shooter is Zach. He has a quick release and and a consistent approach. He is getting tougher inside to rebound and score on put backs and he can fall away from mid-range making him a tougher cover for his long term success.
Zaire Hays Zaire Hays 6'2" | CG Rincon/UHS | 2024 State AZ Rincon/University (Pictured)
A tough combo guard who can score and he is a very good passer. He played thru an injury both days and he still managed to affect the outcomes of the games with his tough downhill game, on-ball defense, play-making for others with slick passes and hitting the three.
Razin Smith Jr Razin Smith Jr 6'5" | PF The Gregory School | 2027 State AZ The Gregory School
An incoming freshman with big mitts, feet, strength and girth. He can throw his size around to clean the glass and block an occasional shot. He can hit the mid-range jumper and works inside with post footwork. One of the better incoming freshman I have seen so far from Tucson. He made the Non-Senior All-Star game.
Elijah Brush Elijah Brush 6'4" | SF Hamilton | 2025 State AZ Hamilton
A face-up wing forward seems to get longer every viewing. He can work from inside and out. He has a quick pull-up from the three point line or from mid-range. He has a good IQ for the game and he rebounds better and will block shots at a higher rate. He made the Top-40 All-Star game.
Jaevyn Yancey Jaevyn Yancey 6'7" | PF Eduprize | 2024 State AZ AZ Compass Prep Black
A face-up power forward can step out and hit the three. He can also work inside and rip thru to score and dunks the ball above the rim. He has the floater game, he takes long strides and will fall away from his defender. He is quickly evolving his game. He made the Top-20 All-Star game.
