RJ Roche RJ Roche 6'4" | SG St. Andrew's | 2025 State MD | St. Andrew’s ’25
Roche is a new addition to St. Andrew’s and will be a key piece to helping them form into one of the better programs in the DMV. Now standing 6-foot-4, Roche found his mark from deep as he usually does and ripped the net for three triples en route to a team-high 16 points in a win over McDonogh. Roche also did his due diligence on the glass and showed some wiggle off the bounce.
Rob Fields Rob Fields 6'7" | PF McDonogh | 2025 State MD | McDonogh ’25
Fields is a name that I believe more Division I programs should be investing in at this stage. The 6-foot-8 junior made the defense pay for any touches around the paint and even stepped out from three and knocked down a shot off the catch with confidence. Fields’ skill set has improved steadily since spring as has his body, physicality and aggression to control the boards. Fields led the Eagles with 15 points in the loss to St. Andrew’s.
Miles Franklin | St. Andrew’s ’25
Another new name for St. Andrew’s who will be a major addition to the roster is Franklin. The 6-foot-5 wing made his presence felt in the passing lanes defensively where he recorded a handful of steals and deflections for run-outs. He was actively cutting off the ball and finishing above the rim all while making his defender pay for late closeouts coming off pin-downs.
Jeremiah Barnes | Rock Creek Christian-Green ’24
Barnes showcased his versatility as a combo forward in their win over Franklin. He did an effective job using his body and leverage on drives or post-ups to create space and grant clean looks around the basket. He ran the lane in transition with purpose, mixed it up off the bounce when getting downhill from the high-post and closed down possessions for his team defensively.
Jake Tringone Jake Tringone 6'7" | PF Sandy Spring Friends | 2024 State MD | Sandy Springs ’24
Tringone is a name that has garnered a lot of attention from DII programs over the summer and for good reason. He brings size, effort and the type of player who can fit into any system with his given skill set. He makes the right play even during situations where he could be selfish and look to get buckets himself. All of which was on display in their dominant morning victory.
