Preseason Player of the Year: 2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1153046' first='Jack' last='Miller'] (Jesup)

There's no doubt which direction we're going with the honor in this division, as Miller as far-and-away the most dynamic player here.

First Team

2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1153046' first='Jack' last='Miller'] (Jesup): 26.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals, 50.8 FG%, 37.6 3P%, 81.2 FT%

An electric three-level scorer who shoots it as well as just about anyone off the dribble, Miller put up huge numbers as a junior and he could average over 30 points a game as a senior. His ability to stop on a dime and elevate into his jumper is extremely difficult to defend at this level.

2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2398026' first='Conall' last='Sauser'] (Oelwein): 13.0 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.2 steals, 50.6 FG%

A 6-3 forward who dominates on the glass on both ends of the floor, Sauser put together a really good sophomore season for the Huskies, a team that should be improved this season.

2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1751222' first='Jackson' last='Anderson'] (Union): 18.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists

A big-time scorer who does a great job getting to his spots, Anderson is capable of dropping 30 on any given night, especially if he's able to improve his jumper a little bit (30% from 3 last season).

2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1726227' first='Caden' last='Sorensen'] (Union): 15.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.3 steals

Sorensen was one of the most productive freshmen in the state last season, showing the ability to score in bunches or create for his teammates at a high clip. He'll pair with Anderson to give the Knights a great backcourt.

2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1839807' first='Ryan' last='Treptow'] (Jesup): 11.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.2 steals

Treptow is a talented 6-2 playmaking guard who allows the J-Hawks to move Miller off the ball on occasion. He's really good on the glass and excels getting into passing lanes and turning defense into offense.
