Saturday’s Top250Expo Event provided student-athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against top talent in front of PH Scouts. Let’s get into Part 2 our Top Prospect Standouts from throughout the event this weekend in Longwood, FL.
Isaiah Gillard Isaiah Gillard 6'3" | PG Bell Creek Academy | 2026 State FL
Isaiah Gillard Isaiah Gillard 6'3" | PG Bell Creek Academy | 2026 State FL
One of my top playmaker standout combo guards of the Top250Expo was Isaiah Gillard Isaiah Gillard 6’3″ | PG Bell Creek Academy | 2026 State FL after watching him display his offensive bag and solid handles to blow by defenders in both games. He did a solid job creating space to make plays while getting his teammates going. The rising sophomore is a pure scorer and also impressed by consistently getting to the foul line.
Maliq Sosa
Maliq Sosa
Sosa is a baller with high upside heading into his junior season. The 6’5 combo guard is physical and has a high motor as he finished well at the rim and crashed the offensive boards. Also came away impressed with his athletic ability and conditioning to give full effort on both ends throughout the day.
Mark Christian
Mark Christian
Christian was another Big standout who was dominant in the paint and screen and roll offensive game. He moves fluid for his size and finished a couple thundering dunks.
I’ve had the opportunity to watch Sanders before, but it was nice to see one of the better 2025 rising prospects to attend the event. The 6’6 athlete has good length and scoring ability while also being effective on defense because of his good instincts and anticipation. He had a couple of blocks off the backboard and showed he wasn’t afraid to pull up in defenders face to hit tough shots. Important season coming up for the junior to get on college coaches’ radar as he has the tools and upside to play at the next level.
Axel Acevedo
Axel Acevedo
Acevedo is a Board Man that eats in the paint as he was one of my top offensive Big Men standouts. He constantly crashed the boards for easy put back layups or made it happen for himself with smooth footwork for his size. He’s also active with his hands of the defensive end while providing solid rim protection. Have to keep my eyes on the Polk County prospect this fall season.
Xavier Kirkpatrick
Xavier Kirkpatrick
Kirkpatrick is a solid decent framed guard prospect that isn’t afraid to finish over taller defenders at the rim and provided solid defensive effort at the Top250Expo to finish as one of the top prospects. He made a few flashy passes and showed off a good pull up mid-range jumper as well.
Terrence Shannon
Terrence Shannon
My other top playmaking guard at the event was Rockledge product Terrence Shannon. The 5’11 rising junior is a pure point guard prospect that can handle the rock up top and shoot at a high percentage from the field. He also displayed good passing instincts and explosive quickness to get to the basket in one or two moves. Good IQ as he leaked well on fast breaks and finished tough layups. He has good upside and can fulfill floor general duties at the next level.
