Team 9 Standouts
Klaidas Paskauskas Klaidas Paskauskas 6'0" | PG Lemont | 2024 State IL (Lemont – 2024)
This Lemont point guard was one of the best shooters regardless of class we saw all summer. The elite shot maker hit a couple, but it was more his creativity with the ball in his hands and passing flair that left an impression in this setting. He hit cutters and shooters with ease, looked fluid in the open floor, and score at the rim in transition.
Ryan Clemons Ryan Clemons 6'3" | SF Homewood Flossmoor | 2025 State IL (Homewood Flossmoor – 2025)
Does HF need more guys that can play? Never heard of Clemons before, but he was the most productive player on his team at the camp. Long and lanky wing that played off his athleticism and energy. Hit the offensive glass for put backs, rim ran for finishes in transition, and had a massive one handed poster dunk. Mixed in a pull up three and mid-range jumper. Keep an eye on this 6’3” wing.
Marty Dempsey Marty Dempsey 6'2" | SG Oak Lawn | 2025 IL (Michelle Clark – 2025)
Dempsey is a long and wiry two guard that plays with swagger. The Michelle Clark two guard caught our attention in the spring with Illinois Drive and did what he does best at the camp. Knock down shots from all over the floor. Corner threes off the catch, crisp pull up twos, and turnaround jumpers.
Jon McGee (Glenbrook North – 2025)
McGee is a tough and hard nosed wing that has always been able to shoot the rock. That is the strength of his game and was shown again in this setting hitting threes off the catch and pulling up along with mixing in crisp mid-range twos.
Landon Jones (Imlay City, MI – 2025)
Jones was one of the out of state standouts at the event. The Michigan product is a long and rangy wing that got in the lane for runners, crashed the offensive glass, and flashed potential as a shooter. Also had a sick dime on the money.
Team 10 Standouts
Al Brooks Al Brooks 6'6" | SF Hansberry | 2025 State #239 Nation IL Jr (Hansberry – 2025)
The top 10 junior was one of the best pure prospects at the event coming in and he popped off the floor athletically. First and foremost it was on the defensive end that the 6’6” wing caught our attention. With his length and switchablity 1 through 4 he was a monster using his hands getting steals against guards on the perimeter along with using his quickness against taller opponents. On the regular he was getting steals and taking them the other way for points. Had several impressive blocks at the rim. Offensively he was at his best in the open floor pushing and using his smooth handles getting to the rim. Also put it on the deck in the half court finishing with either hand. Explosive off the floor for second chance points recording a number of put backs and used those springs to throw down a nasty lob late in one contest. The shooting is a work in progress as he didn’t hit many jumpers, bit ironically he made the toughest he took to end the half pulling up from just inside half court and rising up ala Jereme Richmond in the state tournament years ago. Mid-majors should be tracking him.
Jake Pollack Jake Pollack 6'8" | PF Deerfield | 2026 State IL (Deerfield – 2026)
Pollack is a 6’7” four man that debuted in our initial class of 2026 rankings. The southpaw is a very good rebounder both in and out of his area. That was the first aspect that jumped out to us when watching him on Saturday. Good second jump on the offensive glass for second chance buckets. Fluid running the floor for points in the paint and consistently got fouled. Flashed being able to put it on the deck from the high post and did hit a spot up three. Definitely some face up potential in there. Defensively he had glimpses of rim protection as he swatted several shots.
Avery Rogoz Avery Rogoz 6'3" | SF Plainfield Central | 2024 State IL (Plainfield Central – 2024)
Liked Rogoz from the summer. Strong and super athletic two way wing that finished with athleticism in the open floor, defended well, and was good as a passer with several nice dimes on the interior. Small college gem.
Kaiden Taylor Kaiden Taylor 6'2" | PF Bishop McNamara Catholic | 2025 IL (Bishop McNamara – 2025)
Taylor is a hard nosed wing that plays taller than his height with his physicality and strength. Was powerful around the hoop on drop steps and converting in the paint against taller and longer athletes.
