Rodney Hunt Jr.
Rodney Hunt Jr.
Watching him the last couple of games made me regret not watching sooner. The 2027 point guard is a pest, and look to continue the Hunt family name in basketball. Hunt can make solid decisions in the Pick-N-Roll. Quick trigger on his jumper that he can stop on the dime and pull-up. You can tell he is raised around the basketball culture by his characteristics.
This man doesn’t back down for anybody. Nice size on him for an incoming freshman. Have that edge to him on the court that you see in his eye as he presses up on the ball. Understand sequences of the game, and know when to shoot off the catch. Player that will give multiple efforts on the loose ball.
Robert Robinson
Robert Robinson
Robinson was being an enforcer in the paint. Overpowering opponents down low on the boards and inside scoring. Runs hard like a deer up and down the floor. Have decent footwork with the ball in the paint. Plays real physical on the floor. Some would call him a “workhorse” with the effort he puts in.
Williams athleticism stood out immediately, but I love his off-ball movement. Bouncy wing that cuts at the right time. Very unselfish player that does the little aspects of the game to win. Identify mismatches for his teammates one the offensive end.
Watson is a blur with the ball in his hands. The quick and fast guard left defenders behind him with his quick first step. Love how he looks to attack the rim instead of settling for jumpers. He can separate from defenders easily. His older sister who help Coppell reach state probably stays on him about doing the little things. Love for him to change his pace with the speed he possesses. Crafty with the ball in his hands.
