Throughout the next few days, myself and Jeremy Brooks will be running through some of the standout performers from the event, and providing full evaluations of every player in attendance. This article will take a look at each player from Team 4.
Roach is a young point with a great feel for the game. He’s in complete control of the game when he has the ball in his hands, getting his teammates involved, breaking down the defense and getting to the rim, or shooting it off the dribble. He gets into his shot quickly off the bounce and has plenty of range. He does a good job using his handles and footwork to help create some additional space. Defensively he is a solid on-ball defender who moves his feet and has quick hands.

A reliable ball-handler who keeps the ball moving and gets his teammates involved at a high level, Hegna is a pass-first point guard who understands his role and plays to it. He’s a solid defender who communicates on that end, and a pretty good shooter off the catch.

Zrostlik impressed when he was playing downhill and attacking the rim. On a number of occasions, he caught on the wing and took advantage of overly aggressive closeouts, putting the ball on the floor and attacking, either for finishes or finding an open teammate. He contributes on the glass, especially on the defensive end, as well.

Reid-Scott is a quick guard who handles the ball really well. He has the ability to break down the defense and get to the rim for finishes, showing good body control around the rim. He showed a good mid-range game, and the next step for him will be adding more range to his jumper.
Dunbar is a pure scorer with a smooth release on his jumper and range well beyond the arc. A lefty who puts constant pressure on the defense, he’s able to score from all three levels. He keeps his elbow tight, gets good elevation on his shot, and great rotation. He operates well in ball screen action, with the ability to turn the corner, pop behind the knock down shots, or find an open teammate.

Davis was one of the players I was most excited to see this weekend and he did not disappoint. He’s a long, lanky wing who can do a little bit of everything. One possession he was knocking down a Dirk Nowitzki-style fadeaway, with the one elevated knee and the high release included. The next he was snapping off a quick touch pass to an open teammate for a layup. The next he hit the defender with a quick between-the-legs dribble into a stepback 3. He rebounds the ball well on both ends of the floor, provides value as a switchable defender, and is a good, willing passer. All in all, a really strong all-around performance from a top-10 player in the 2026 class. He could’ve easily been on the 2026 All-Expo team that I put together, but it’s a testament to how strong the rest of the 2026 class was on Sunday that he was excluded.

Schoenauer is an intriguing young big man with soft hands and a good frame to continue building on. He’s a good passer who sees the floor well, recognizing the double team coming and finding open shooters on the opposite wing. He showed some comfort in his shot from the arc, showing a good looking stroke. He needs to continue to develop athletically, as he can be a bit stiff at times, but there are certainly some intriguing tools here.
Note: Zander Murray Zander Murray 6'0" | SG Xavier | 2026 State IA (Xavier) was also on Team 4, but was previously written about in the 2026 All-Expo article.
