Solid Play
Highlights
Nick has a steady game and he is using that maturity to get the ballto the right places. He was running PG he was play off the ball and he was running the floor getting spots. The one thing you need to respect about his game is that he competes and he doesn’t just settle for three-pointers. He was attacking the rima nd making things happen, he was moving without the ball making space and just playing ball the right way. He had a solid showing this past weekend.
Highlights
Ty out at Copper Hills High School is somewhat unknown mainly because he doesn’t really play club ball but he was solid. He has size and he is a grab and go big as he does have some ball handling ability through the length of the floor. With his back to the basket he shwed some flashes of solid footwork and patience. In the perimeter he has solid moves that him open looks at the rim. He runs the floor and he is a player that could have a breakout season over at CHHS.
Highlights
Really excited for Jax’s future. If he played at a different school he would likely start on varsity and he would be making some noise because the kid has IQ and can shoot the ball. He is at a school that is loaded with talent and seems to reload every year, either way look for him to continue to develop lead guard skills but also still be that elite SG that he is. He is an underrated passer as he showed a little bit of everything in this showcase.
Highlights
Lone Peak got themselves a good one and after counting all the players that LP has that are weapons they are a team that will be laying in wait and if you do not prepare for them they will light you up. Austin has quickness and he can get by defenders and cause a havoc. He does not force tough layups he finds open players and that will benefit him as his assist game could improve drastically this year.
Preston is a very solid CG that is good on teh ball as he is off the ball. he has solid skills and he knows how to set up his defender. He hit players with a variety of moves that got him open looks. He was showing that he can make things happen on his own and he showed that he can create for others as he was drawing two and kicking the ball. We are going to keep an eye on him because he has a lot of potential.
