Here we look at 5 standouts from the event.
Zach Baum, High School Nobles and Greenough, Class 2026, HT 6’8, Position F
Zach was on my radar coming into the Expo, after seeing him play over the summer. He really stood out at the event. He is a 6’8 versatile player, that has a good skill set for todays basketball. He moves well for his size, and can really stretch the floor. He made multiple on point passes, including a few long outlet passes. He showed his strong all around game. He had some tough finishes at the rim, and hit some mid range, and outside jumpers. Zach’s length was also a big factor on defense as a rim protector. Zach has good combination of size and skill.
Anthony Simpson JR, High School, Master, Position PG, HT 5’11, Class 2025
Anthony really impressed a bunch of coaches and scouts at the Expo. He controlled the game as the teams floor general. He was really on from Mid range, and showed the Mid range game is not a lost art in todays basketball. Defensively Anthony was a pest, he was vocal, and forced turnovers. Anthony is a leader on the floor, has a crafty skill set, and can hit the open three. Anthony was a playmaker all day at the Expo.
Khalil Carlson Khalil Carlson 6'3" | SG Monument Mountain | 2024 State New E , High School Monument Mountain, HT 6’3, Class 2024, Position G/Wing
Khalil showed his all around game, athleticism, and strength at the Expo. He is able to play inside and out. He showed his athleticism with 2 big dunks, including one that was from standing vertical. He can play at multiple speeds, and can score in transition or in the half court. He had some nice finishes during the day through contact. Khalil has a strong upside to his game, and is an uncommitted 2024 prospect coaches should watch.
Jaydon Buckle, High School The Masters School, HT 6’1, Position G, Class 2024
Jaydon showed his Guard skills at the Expo. He finished well at the rim, made a bunch of high level passes, and also showed his ability to be a shot maker. Watch out for the back court of Jaydon and Anthony at The Masters school.
Noah Perry-Lewis Noah Perry-Lewis 5'5" | PG Bridgewater/raynham | 2025 New E , High School Bridgewater-Raynham, Class 2025, HT 5’6
Noah has a quick first step, and showed that at the expo, getting by defenders, and getting to the rim. He also shot well from three, and had 5 threes one game. He handles the ball well, and did a good job running the point for his team. Noah has a good combination of skills and quickness.
