We had the opportunity to watch camp in its entirety and here are some more of the top performers we saw on the day.
Jackson Owens Jackson Owens 6'3" | CG Cleveland | 2024 State OR (2024 Cleveland)
Showing great energy and all-around play all day long was Owens, who just missed making our All-Camp team. He was particularly dangerous in transition as seeming every time we looked over after a missed shot or turnover, he was driving in for a layup. The master of the mid-range, the Cleveland senior hit some jumpers and also made some nice plays with his passing, finding open teammates for scores.
RJ Alexander (2024 Gresham)
Also filling it up all day was Alexander, who scored early and often right from the outset. The Gresham senior flashed his smooth lefty shooting stroke hitting threes from deep, while also making a concerted effort to balance out the bombs by getting to the basket and finishing. Using his quick hands, he was a factor on the defensive end as well.
Dominic Papworth Dominic Papworth 6'2" | CG Franklin | 2024 State OR (2024 Franklin)
Papworth had a nice all-around performance, utilizing his length and athleticism at the two-guard position to make plays on both ends of the floor. Offensively he was aggressive getting to the hoop and scoring over smaller defenders while on defense, he was a threat with his timing to block opposing layup attempts.
Vashon Hardges Vashon Hardges 6'2" | CG Grant | 2024 State OR (2024 Grant)
The shot may not have been falling as much as we’ve seen other times but one thing’s for sure, nothing will stop Hardges from going all-out on the court. He continually pushed the basketball, drive hard to the hole to draw contact, and got physical and in your face on the defensive end. The Grant senior’s motor was constantly in fifth gear all day even after hard falls to the ground or and an apparent lower back tweak.
Joey Banry Joey Banry 5'9" | PG North Eugene | 2024 State OR (2024 North Eugene)
Defenders had trouble all day keeping up with Banry as his quickness and power dribble drove opposing guards nuts. The North Eugene senior showed the capability of driving and finishing going either left or right and his jumper was solid enough from the outside. Banry did a credible job on the defensive end against bigger players as well.
Peyton Reyes Peyton Reyes 5'9" | PG Mountainside | 2025 State OR (2025 Mountainside)
Another guy who wasn’t necessarily hitting from the outside as much but more than made up for it with his energy level was Reyes. One of the fastest guys in camp, the Mountainside junior pushed the ball up the floor at every opportunity and if he wasn’t slashing into the lane for a layup, he was finding one of his teammates for a score. Great intensity on defense as always.
Brady Muilenburg Brady Muilenburg 6'7" | SG Ridgeview | 2025 State OR (2025 Ridgeview)
With his blend of length, height, and perimeter skills, Muilenburg certainly stood out. He preferred to create off the dribble and shoot off the move with the pull-up, of which he was able to sink at a decent percentage. He ran the floor, finished off a number of plays with the dunk, and was effective as a weakside shot-blocker.
Ethan Eckard Ethan Eckard 6'3" | SG Sherwood | 2024 State OR (2024 Sherwood)
Once just known mainly as a shooter, Eckard has added some flexibility with his offensive game and his improved athleticism was on display. The Sherwood senior made it a point to get to the basket and capably finished with either hand around the rim. He did all this without sacrificing any of his outside marksmanship.
Nate Stiffler Nate Stiffler 6'4" | SF Thurston | 2025 State OR (2025 Thurston)
A shooter with size, Stiffler looked first to utilize his shooting stroke but also capably put the ball on the floor to create and get to the hoop. He used his solid 6-foot-5 frame to grab boards and body up opponents on the defensive end.
