While I was watching the athletes compete out there in each contest and later on in the film I watched, I took small “live” notes, explaining somethings about the player and their performance in that moment. Below I will be highlighting players that stood out to me from afar, while stating what their “live notes” were during their games.

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
#447 – Eddie Petersen Eddie Petersen 6'1" | PG Regina | 2024 State IA – 2024 – 6’1 – PG – IC Regina Catholic High School
“Active hands and great footwork on both sides of the floor. A guard that can stay on the ball or move away from it if need be offensively. A solid overall competitor who makes his mark with defense and passing. Good knowledge of where his opponent is going to shoot the ball, if he gets beaten off the dribble, usually resulting in a big block or deflection for himself. Will do well individually this season in his specific conference.”
#428 – Zander Murray Zander Murray 6'0" | SG Xavier | 2026 State IA – 2025 – 6’0 – PG/SG – CR Xavier High School
“Better each time I see him compete. Physical, has tempo, works with pace when he is coming down the floor. Has the ability to speed up the offense or slow it down, depending on what the coaches asking. Great body control when going to finish at the hoop through a defender. Displays good feel and knowledge of the game.”
#488 – Devin O’Brien – 2025 – 6’5 – SG – Lisbon High School
“A lot of length here. Moves well off of the ball at the SG position for catch and shoot possibilities . Best ability is letting it go from deep but has shown that he can put it on the floor and use his dribble to free up space. Listens well to his teammates and coaches on a consistent basis. Always doing what is best for the team.”
#497 – Cael Reichter Cael Reichter 6'7" | PF North Fayette Valley | 2025 State IA – 2025 – 6’7 – SF – North Fayette Valley High School
“One of the best players I’ve seen today. Length, physicality, agile movement with the ball in his hands. Not to mention, that he can shoot the ball from all three levels at a high and efficient rate. A college prospect that would produce at the next level, just needs to build some more muscle mass over time. The reach, athleticism, and skill-set are eye opening to anyone who maybe watching.”
#490 – Nathan Stroud Nathan Stroud 6'5" | PF Mount Pleasant | 2024 State IA – 2024 – 6’5 – PF – Mount Pleasant High School
“Strong demeanor that is learning more of the skill side of the game, day by day. Is a quiet individual in general but his actions speak volumes. Hard-worker, calculated attcker on the offensive end, rebounding machine, blocking machine, sneaky athletic. Should have a good year during high school ball. Someone that has a good enough base, that if a college coach were to work with him, he could produce at that level over his 4/5 years.”
466 – Spencer Biah Spencer Biah 6'0" | SF Muscatine | 2026 State IA – 2026 – 6’0 – CG – Muscatine High School
“Someone that is going to be a piece of his high school’s varsity roster in a big way this winter. Good size and speed to go along with it. More muscle mass than most that matchup with him, giving him a physical advantage a majority of the time. Possesses a quick dribble going to his right, with the ability to step back off of it or get all the way to the basket for a lay. Has a positive presence to the teammates on the floor around him. Great energy.”
