Top Player: Evan Haywood
There was no bigger stock riser in the in-state 2024 class than shooting guard Evan Haywood over the spring/summer. Due to his high level of play and overall rise, D1s took major interesting in him with ultimately led him to committing to hometown team Butler. With his recruitment officially out of the way now, Haywood is focused on finishing out his high school career strong. His combination of size and length on the perimeter, along with his elite shooting ability, has made him one of the top players in the state. He has a chance to lead the Braves to the state finals.
Potential Breakout Player: Reis Butcher Reis Butcher 6'4" | SF Brebeuf Jesuit | 2024 State IN
There are very few backcourts in the state that are as dynamic as Brebeuf Jesuit’s and Reis Butcher Reis Butcher 6'4" | SF Brebeuf Jesuit | 2024 State IN makes up one part of that along with Evan Haywood. While Haywood may get all the focus, Butcher has always been on the more underrated guards in the 2024 class. The 6’4″ wing is a talented right hand driver and slasher that can rebound his area and defend multiple positions. He works well on and off the ball and if his outside jumper takes that next step this season, we could be saying Butcher’s stock rise higher.

- James Clark James Clark 6'4" | PF Brebeuf Jesuit | 2025 IN – Clark is another player that is expected to be a major contributor in the post for the Braves this season. Plays with a high motor and is not afraid to play physical throughout the entire game.
