Butler was a very nice surprise with his play here today. Xavier has some serious bounce and really excels in the transition game. He was able to finish around and the above the rim. Butler handled the ball up the floor in transition and really looked to explode to the basket.
Xavier played well in the passing lanes picking up several deflections here today. Xavier will be suiting up this coming season at Bridges Prep – Class 1A program down in Beaufort.
Chung a point guard really did a nice job of switching directions with the ball in his hands. Kishan finished drives to the cup with his ability to draw contact. He used the ball-screen to turn the corner at times and race to the cup. Chung was able to keep defenders on their feet with his ability to change gears and the tempo of the game.
Stephens was the 2nd part of the Bengals program to make quite a 1st Impression here today. Tyler has great motor on the floor and really brings very good versatility to the game. He was effective finishing around the rim after bringing the rock from coast to coast at times. He constantly played active on both ends of the court.
Robinson plays at a small Class 1A school down in Orangeburg County. Tyler was active all around the paint area and on the glass. The motor never stopped running all day long with us in attendance. The closer to the cup he was the most effective he in rebounding and scoring the rock. Tyler grabbed several on both ends of the court.
Riesgo really made a lot of heady and gritty plays here at the Prep Hoops South Carolina Top 250 Expo. Gabriel really liked to use his left-hand to drive to the basket but came back right most of the time. Riesgo was constantly around the ball and played aggressive on both ends of the court. Gabriel took pride in playing defense and really working while on the ball.
