Anakin Brown Anakin Brown 6'4" | CG N/A | 2024 State FL | G | Class of 2024 | Beachside | @brown_anakin
Brown is one of the premier recruits in the North Florida area. The 6’3 combo guard and Jacksonville Basketball commit is an athletic prospect with a good pull-up game combined with high-quality body control when pushing the floor to finish fast break layups consistently. Brown was a playmaker for the Bolles School last season, averaging 19.9 points per game, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.8 steals. *He’s since made a move to Beachside High.
Tayshuan Gilchrist | G | Class of 2024 | Escambia | TayshaunG1
Gilchrist is also one of the top guard prospects in the North Florida region. He led Escambia in scoring with 17.8 points per game last season with 3.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists to add. The 6’1 rising senior has good vision to get teammates involved but no doubt he’s a pure scorer that can shoot the rock or get his at the rim with either hand.
Albert McKinnie Albert McKinnie 6'8" | PF Bay | 2024 State FL | PF | Class of 2024 | Bay | @Albert_Mckinnie
2022 stats: 8.5 ppg, 6.0 rebounds, 1.1 blocks
McKinnie is an underrated forward prospect with a good motor to run the floor and stay active on the boards. He’s a potential double-double machine for the upcoming season while providing solid rim protection on the defensive side. Check the film, the 6’8 Bay High product is a bucket that can generate some interest around his recruitment during his senior season.
Julien Barnett Julien Barnett 6'5" | SF North Tampa Prep | 2024 State FL | CG | Class of 2024 | King | @julienbarnett12
The 6’5 wing product made a recent move to King High where he will have the opportunity to provide consistent scoring around the basket, solid rebounding, and hounding defense for the Lions program. Barnett averaged 9.7 points with 5.7 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game last season.
Dominick Nicholson | G | Class of 2024 | West Florida | @DominickNich3
2022 stats: 11.2 ppg, 4.4 rebounds, 1.9 steals
Nicholson has an overall solid game in which he can shoot the rock, score in transition, guard various positions, and play smart with the ball. He’s an athletic prospect with good size and upside for the next level.
Garrett Watterson Garrett Watterson 6'7" | SF Bolles | 2024 State FL | CG | Class of 2024 | Bolles | @Garrettwatt5
2022 stats: 8.9 ppg, 5.1 rebounds
Watterson has developed into a consistent shooter with a good frame at 6’7 and basketball IQ for the next level. He provides solid handles, a good motor on both sides of the ball, and can shoot the rock consistently in various offensive sets. He picked up a recent offer from Sewanee College and has the potential to see an uptick in interest as the season approaches.
