The event featured high level competition and great games, as well as prospects for colleges of all levels moving forward.
Here’s a look at part 2 of some of the top 2025 performers at the event.

Uzochukwu went through the ringer last year with Bird as the young player on an experienced team, and between that and his big summer he had he’s set to be one of the breakout players on a new look Skyhawks team that will need a scoring punch. He’s a strong guard who plays with a different pace and a great motor, he gets to spots where he can score the ball in different ways and he does all the dirty work defensively and is a very good rebounder for his size too.
Daron Moore Daron Moore 6'1" | PG LC Bird | 2025 State VA | 6’0” PG | LC Bird
Moore transferred to Bird this summer from Huguenot and while he’s learning to play within their system he showed off his skill set and ability to make plays for himself and others with the ball in his hands. He’s a good shooter from deep and in the midrange with good footwork and a quick release, he is crafty off the bounce with the ability to create space and touch the paint and he has a good middle game with floaters and pull-ups.

James River | 2025

VA
| 6’1” PG | CBG Elite
Deloatch is coming off a big summer with Team Richmond, and he’ll be the go-to guy at James River this year and the way he played at the team camp with CBG Elite I expect him to be one of the top scoring guards in the Richmond area. He’s a big and physical guard who gets downhill and finishes well through contact, he can play on or off the ball and work on the perimeter to get open and knock down shots from deep and he just has a natural knack for scoring the ball in different and unconventional ways.
Justin Burrough

Burrough

Norfolk Collegiate | 2025
State
VA
| 6’6” WF | CBG Elite
Burrough has developed nicely and had a great summer running with Boo Williams E16 group, and he’s ready to make a statement this season and has a lot of tools that college coaches will be intrigued with. At 6’6” he has a strong and athletic frame that allows him to get downhill as a good finisher and makes him a good rebounder, he can make shots when he’s left open and looks much more confident shooting the ball and he has very good instincts and a good feel on both ends of the floor.
Khalil Caple

Caple

Norfolk Collegiate | 2025
State
VA
| 6’3” CG | CBG Elite
Caple will be Burrough’s running mate for Norfolk Collegiate after playing with him this summer too, and not only do they have great chemistry but they also compliment each other well with their style of play. Caple’s a big guard who plays with a great motor on both ends of the floor and will outwork other guys to make winning plays, he plays with good pace and he gets to spots with his ability to change speeds and directions and he’s a very good finisher and playmaker when he gets downhill.
Jalen Dyer | 6’4” PG | CBG Elite
Dyer showed flashes with Miller School last year on their run to the state championship game before losing to Highland School, and many of their players have improved with Dyer being one of the most improved players on the roster. He’s grown to 6’4” and has improved his body to be quicker and more explosive, he has a good handle and makes the right play consistently and he picks his spots and makes shots efficiently.
