Below is a review of five unranked, but extremely talented prospects from southeastern Pennsylvania who impressed us this month.
College coaches and scouts need to watch these players and learn their names. That way no one will be shocked when these ballers make headlines during the 2023-24 high school season.
Westin Fryberger Westin Fryberger 6'3" | SG Conestoga | 2025 PA – 6’2” / 2024 / Conestoga / Shooting Guard: Textbook mechanics, a quick release and unlimited range make Fryberger a feared 3-point shooter. However, what separates him from the pack of shooting guards is his court awareness and off-ball movement. Fryberger is constantly finding the open spaces in a defense for clean looks. When his teammates attack the rim, Fryberger’s solid instincts enable him to relocate in their line of vision for a kick out 3PA. Fryberger is a solid rebounding guard too.
Myon Kirlew Myon Kirlew 6'0" | CG Norristown | 2024 State PA – 6’0” / 2024 / Norristown / 610 City / Combo Guard: Kirlew is an intriguing prospect who is equally dangerous as a primary ball handler and as a shooting guard. When he has the rock, Kirlew can get to the rim off the dribble going left or right. He also does an excellent of probing opposing defenses off the bounce and then moving the ball to the open teammate. As a two-guard, Kirlew can drain threes and fill a lane in transition.
Haze Puttlitz Haze Puttlitz 6'8" | C Delaware Valley | 2024 State NJ – 6’8” / 2024 / Solebury School / East Coast Cyclones / Power Forward: With his enormous wingspan and endless motor, the first thing that you notice about Puttlitz is his ability to dominate the glass at both ends. Offensively, Puttlitz excels at catching drop passes and finishing in-close through contact. He can play out of pick-n-roll action and is excellent passer out of the high post as well. Puttlitz will even drop the occasional 3-ball. At the other end, Puttlitz is an intimidating rim protector.
Weshly Rosario Weshly Rosario 5'10" | PG Reading | 2026 State PA – 5’10″ / 2026 / Reading / Reading KTB / Point Guard: Rosario first impressed us at Future All-American Camp in August. Then he was a standout performer at the Never Forget Classic in early September. So, his recruiting stock is on the rise. Rosario is a lead guard who plays with tremendous poise and never gets sped up. He is skilled at directing half court sets and then distributing to the open teammate. But when Rosario’s squad needs point production from him, he can get a bucket at any level.
Jack Woodard Jack Woodard 6'5" | SF Great Valley | 2024 State PA – 6’5” / 2024 / Great Valley / Eastern PA Elite / Small Forward: This prospect stands a legitimate 6’5”, owns a feathery 3-point stroke and can score in the paint. So, the potential is there for Woodard to develop into a solid stretch-4 prospect. His ability to shoot over double-teams is noteworthy. Still, even with all his scoring skills, Woodard plays an unselfish style and always makes the extra pass. He is a plus rebounder and a decent shot blocker too.
