Declan Wucherpfennig Declan Wucherpfennig 6'7" | PF Bergen Catholic | 2025 State NJ , 6’6 PF Bergen Catholic
Wucherpfennig had the biggest jump in the rankings as he moved up 34 spots in the update. The 6’6 forward has a strong face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and finish strong around the basket. Wucherpfennig has a nice release on his jumper and can knock down jumpers in the mid-range. He rips down rebounds at both ends of the floor and is an underrated post defender. Wucherpfennig’s stock is on the rise and should continue to surge over the course of the season.
Kordell Philemon Kordell Philemon 6'4" | CG Roselle Catholic | 2025 State NJ , 6’4 CG Irvington
Philemon jumped up 32 spots in the update after a strong summer. The 6’4 guard is at his best attacking the basket as he finishes strong around the basket and is unafraid of drawing contact. Philemon knows how to get to his spot on the floor and can hit open jumpers on the perimeter. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is a strong rebounder. Philemon’s ability to finish around the basket is something that will help his stock in a big way throughout the winter.
Malachi Arrington Malachi Arrington 6'10" | C Montclair Immaculate | 2025 State NJ , 6’10 C Immaculate Conception
Arrington moved up 30 spots in the update and has the potential to move up higher this season. The 6’10 post runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy dunks and layups in transition. Arrington uses his body to get position down low and has a nice touch around the basket. He influences shots around the basket and snatches rebounds at both ends of the floor. Arrington’s ability to control the paint is something that will help his development throughout the 2023-24 season.
Zach Epp Zach Epp 6'2" | SG Westfield | 2025 State NJ , 6’2 SG Westfield
Epp had a strong summer, which resulted in him moving up 19 spots in the update. The 6’2 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can knock down triples in bunches. Epp is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim off the bounce and finish around the basket. He slides his feet on the defensive end and rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands. Epp is a sharpshooting guard prospect whose stock has the potential to rise even higher this winter.
Jarrell Harmitt Jarrell Harmitt 6'1" | SG Teaneck | 2025 State NJ , 6’1 SG Teaneck
Harmitt went up 15 spots in the update and will be a guard to watch in the Big North Conference. The 6’1 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong and does not mind contact. Harmitt has a nice touch on his free throws and can also score in the mid-range. He is a tough on-ball defender and has the potential to run the offense at times. Harmitt is a slashing guard prospect who should get more touches on the offensive end this season.
