#10 – Anthony Canales Anthony Canales 6'4" | SG Lynden | 2024 State WA (Lynden HS)
Anthony has been the top player within the conference for the past year or two. He is a complete player who scores at all three levels and is very patient on the court. He plays his best at the biggest stages, explaining the reason why the Lions have won back to back state titles and Canales won named state tournament MVP both years. He will play at the college level, the question is where. Wherever he chooses to go, some program will land a special talent.
#32 – Jeremiah Wright Jeremiah Wright 6'6" | PF Lynden Christian | 2024 State WA (Lynden Christian HS)
Jeremiah has been a very big part of this Lyncs program that has won back to back 1A state titles. He is a strong, powerful force down in the paint. Standing at 6’6″, not many players can match-up against him. He has excellent footwork and can finish through traffic well. His ball handling has been improving as he has been trying to work more from the wing. As his jump shot continues to improve as well, he will expand his game more and stretch the floor in a big way.
#37 – Quinn Swanson Quinn Swanson 6'2" | SG Mount Vernon | 2024 State WA (Mount Vernon HS)
Quinn could easily be the best scorer within the entire Northwest Conference, regardless of class. Swanson has a very high basketball IQ, he is very patient with the basketball and knows his strengths on the court. He shoots the ball at a high percentage from anywhere on the court. He drops 30/40 a night and doesn’t need to take an excessive amount of shots during the game. He isn’t selfish either, sharing the ball with his teammates and facilitating the offense smoothly when needed.
#150 – Kayden Stuit Kayden Stuit 6'4" | PF Lynden Christian | 2024 State WA (Lynden Christian HS)
Kayden is new to the rankings list, being a riser during the update. When he suits up for Lynden Christian, he is a big time contributor. During the summer he suited up with D1-Elite and won multiple tournaments, filling his role on a stacked team perfectly. He is a force down in the paint, having great footwork and post moves to get the finish down low. Stuit has a big, strong frame that is hard to match-up against when he’s at his best. His defensive impact will be noticed next season and the Lyncs could accomplish the three peat.
WL – Dawson Bouma Dawson Bouma 6'0" | SG Lynden Christian | 2024 State WA (Lynden Christian HS)
Dawson is going to step into a bigger role for the Lyncs now that the 2023 class has graduated. He embraced the bigger role over the summer, showing growth within his game. He handled the ball well, being confident in driving to the rack with either hand and finishing with both hands as well. Bouma runs the court well and can step out and hit the three ball, but can defintely improve in that area to be more consistent.
WL – Bishop Ootsey Bishop Ootsey 5'10" | CG Ferndale | 2024 WA (Ferndale HS)
Bishop is doing this thing right now on the football field, leading the Golden Eagles as the starting quarterback. Ootsey’s athleticism has been improving as he is able to dunk the ball more consistently. He runs the court well in transition, having his eyes up always looking for his teammates so they can get easy buckets. He gets to the rim smoothly with his right hand but could improve on using his left. His deep shot could use more consistency as well.
