Schmidt-Uili is the highest newcomer in the 2024 rankings update as he checks in at number eight. The New Zealand native finishes strong above the rim and can make shots through contact around the basket. Schmidt-Uili can start the fast break as he makes good outlet passes and can put the ball on the floor as well. He rips down rebounds at both ends of the floor and influences shots around the basket. Schmidt-Uili is a talented post prospect who will be one to watch throughout the winter with his ability to finish around the basket.
James Moore James Moore 6'9" | PF Olympus Prep | 2024 State #237 Nation NJ , 6’9 PF Patrick School
Moore’s name should be familiar as he played his first two seasons at the Patrick School before going to Mt. Zion Prep. The 6’9 forward has a good face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. Moore finishes nicely around the basket and can draw contact in the paint. He uses his length to influence shots around the basket and is an underrated passer. Moore’s ability to stretch the floor is something that will help his stock in a big way this winter.
Alijah Curry Alijah Curry 6'8" | PF Camden | 2024 State #314 Nation NJ , 6’8 PF Camden
Curry fills in a position of need for the High as he becomes the go-to player down low. The 6’8 forward explodes off the floor for dunks and is unafraid of finishing through contact. Curry can also play on the perimeter as he has a solid handle and a high release on his jumper. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated interior defender. Curry will be a player to watch in South Jersey all season as Camden looks to regain its Group 2 title in 2023-24.
Will Syndor Will Syndor 6'9" | PF Patrick School | 2024 State NJ , 6’9 PF Patrick School
Syndor has the ability to play either forward spot, making him one of the more intriguing prospects in the class. The 6’9 forward has a good first step, which he uses to get to the basket and finish strong above the rim. Syndor moves well without the ball in his hands and has a good release on his jumper. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and has an underrated handle. Syndor’s versatility is something that will help his game in a big way over the next couple of months.
Adoulaye Komate Adoulaye Komate 6'5" | SF Patrick School | 2024 State NJ , 6’5 SF Patrick School
Komate joins a talented Celtics squad as he looks to make his mark on the perimeter. Komate knows how to get to his spot on the floor and rises up with confidence on his jumper. He uses his length to get deflections on defense and is an underrated rebounder.
