Quinton Burlenski Quinton Burlenski 6’2″ | SG Wheeling Central Catholic | 2024 State WV is what I would call a “takeover” player. He has the ability to control the game at point guard or move over to a shooting guard position and fill the role as a primary scorer. To us, his most impressive skill is keeping everyone involved in the offense and ability to distribute and get scorers in position. He will be one of the toughest small school matchups for opponents of any level. Defensively he is the anchor for Central’s defense and will be counted on to take the opposition’s toughest player. Burlenski has a D2 offer from Wheeling University in his hometown.
Cole Lambert Cole Lambert 6'0" | SG Wyoming East | 2024 State WV

Cole Lambert Cole Lambert 6’0″ | SG Wyoming East | 2024 State WV is one of the players that basketball coaches love to coach but hate to face. His energy and tenacity on both ends, always applying pressure while on offense with drives and laser dimes along with clamping down on ballhandlers with his on-ball defense. The impending floor leader on both ends for the Wyoming East High School program, Lambert will surely raise the level of all his teammates and make a possible run to Charleston. Lamberts summer showings have led to a recent D2 offer by Coach Todd May of Concord University.
Aaron Hall Aaron Hall 6’5″ | PF Greater Beckley Christian | 2024 State WV might be the most intriguing player on this list. A big wing/forward type player who shoots it well enough to be a threat, but also rebounds at an extremely high level averaging double digit per game, a rare feat these days. Hall is an athletic finisher in transition throwing down dunks with authority while running the floor. A recent MVP at Marshall’s high school team camp, Hall will quickly get on the radar of several schools despite his small school enrollment. Look for offers to come hot and heavy once 2024 rolls around.
Dylan Ashley Dylan Ashley 6’3″ | SF Williamstown | 2024 State WV while being on a perrenial contender basketball program, has managed to somewhat stay under the radar. Playing on a super talented small school team with a defense first approach, Ashley doesn’t always have a huge number in the box score, BUT does affect every game in a big way. This 6’3″ wing is a serious matchup problem for every opponent on the schedule. A streaky but effective shooter, Ashley can bury teams when hot and when not, he drives, dishes and disrupts defenses. Great length, athleticism and basketball IQ, Ashley would be a low risk offer for most any D3, NAIA or D2 programs. Expect Ashley to see an offer by March.
