After the season performances these players have produced in school and AAU season, they are all considered prospective players for the next level. Strong, quick, decisive and fierce should describe them all meanwhile not allowing their size to hamper their ability to control the game and contribute on both ends.
Gute is a bulldog on the court. Hard driving to the bucket with great vision to make the extra pass needed to complete plays. Plays downhill on both ends putting forth maximum effort and energy required to play the point guard position at a high level. His relentless effort and no quit attitude don’t end on offense, his defensive effort is nearly unmatched as well. Great feet and technique with on ball defense is a strength.
Maier is a smooth ball handler and great feel for scoring the ball when necessary while letting his point guard mentality own the floor and operate an offense. Defensively Maier is disruptive enough to guard bigger opponents which he typically needs to in WV’s AAA division.
Gladney potentially steals the show no matter where he goes. Ability to play the point guard position while being a sharp shooting scorer makes him a more than interesting prospect. Possibly viewed as undersized but could add high value to several rosters at the next level.
One of the more exciting players to watch, Bailes slices and dices from any angle any way you want it. Always downhill and on attack he uses either hand to score or dish. High energy and disruptive effort creates problems for opponents while Bryar is on defense.
Kamron Gore
Kamron Gore
Gore has a scorer’s mentality but easily looks to control the ball and run offense when necessary. The versatility and willingness to make the right play gives him great floor presence and value to teammates. Great change of speeds and scores from both sides of the basket.
