Each player competed in 5 games for the two days plus 60 competed in an extra All-Star Game. (Top-20, Top-40 and a Non-Senior All-Star Game)
We start breaking down each team.
Next up is Team Washington
Peyton Lubash Peyton Lubash 5'9" | PG San Tan Charter | 2027 State AZ San Tan Charter
A quick on quick undersized point guard can score and shoot it with any of the players in attendance. He can hit the catch three with deep range but has the rare ability to create a shot off the dribble from both perimeter levels. He gets a lot of talk about his scoring but he is also a very good passer. He made the Top-20 All-Star game and had a shot at the buzzer to tie it but it fell short. A good showing for the incoming freshman.
Roy Chavez Roy Chavez 5'8" | PG Madison Highland Prep | 2027 State AZ Madison Highland Prep
Another incoming freshman who is an undersized point guard. The lefty is a dimer who gets the ball out of his hands easily and sees the court quickly. He can shoot the three off the catch and can pull-up. One to watch for the small school.
Dante Vella Dante Vella 6'0" | SG North Canyon | 2024 State AZ North Canyon
A newcomer to the website is Dante. He was one of the best three point shooters at the camp. He has a quick release and a compact stroke. He is also a sneaky good passer and just knows how to play. I believe he was one of the snubs of the Top-40 All-Star game.
Dario Vella Dario Vella 6'3" | CG North Canyon | 2025 State AZ North Canyon
Dante’s younger bother is a unique player. He plays like a point forward or a combo guard. He is a good defender to rebound, he is tough on the ball and will even block shots. Offensively he can get downhill with his sneaky athleticism and burst and can score on put backs or tip-ins with offensive rebounds.
Lorenzo Lizzaraga Lorenzo Lizzaraga 5'10" | CG Verrado | 2024 AZ Verrado
A combo guard who plays hard and will defend. He has stronger build with good upper body strength. He consistently hustles on defense and is good on the ball with his quicker feet. He will hit the three with some success and plays unselfishly.
Julian Garcia Julian Garcia 6'2" | SG Seton Catholic Prep | 2024 State AZ Seton Catholic
A scoring guard with high skill and a big IQ. He can hit from mid-range plus the three. He can drive it and score it with either hand and plays the right way. He also happens to have one of the highest GPAs in the senior class.
Mark Wiltshire Jr Mark Wiltshire Jr 6'4" | SF Mountain Pointe | 2025 State AZ Mountain Pointe (Pictured)
A long wing forward was a newcomer for me. He gets downhill with extremely long strides. The lefty can hit the three point shot or hit from mid-range. He can cover a lot of ground on defense defending multiple positions. He is definitely one to watch in Ahwatukee. He made the Non-Senior All-Star game.
Wyatt MacKay Wyatt MacKay 6'4" | SG North Canyon | 2024 State AZ North Canyon
An offensive shooting guard scores it from all three levels. He can shoot it from mid plus he has the catch three. He can dunk it on the break and comes with a tough euro move. He can give a hard ball fake and get to the rim and score with his stronger upper body with either hand. He is also a physical defender. He made the Top-20 All-Star game.
Paris Strozier Jr Paris Strozier Jr 6'5" | SG Thunderbird | 2024 State AZ Thunderbird
A two-way shooting guard is an easy athlete above the rim. He uses his quick twitch, lateral speed and length to keep defenders in front of him and uses his long limbs to play the passing lanes. He runs the court and is a stud in transition. He loves getting to the basket and can hit perimeter jumpers. He made the Top-20 All-Star game.
Nate Parras Nate Parras 6'7" | PF Eduprize | 2024 State AZ Eduprize
An athletic power forward is a very good rebounder and defender. He is very active on the glass and can shoot it from mid-range. He will score thru contact in the paint and has that quick bounce to block shots or to dunk the ball. He uses a hook shot and can occasionally face-up to the three. He made the Top-20 All-Star game.
