Although he most often plays off the ball at St Mary’s, he is a very capable Point Guard and his extreme toughness and strength galvanize his team. For example, in an extremely tight contest he sustained a pretty brutal hit to his eye and had to come out of the game due to the injury and blood. He proceeded to run off the court, changed into a tournament tee- shirt and returned to the game in the final minutes. With his team down by 1, Kenny proceeded to steal the ball and make an off-hand game winning lay-up. This is the essence of Kenny White Kenny White 5’9″ | CG St. Mary’s | 2024 State AZ —toughness, tenacity and winning. Any college would be lucky to get a player and person of Kenny White Kenny White 5’9″ | CG St. Mary’s | 2024 State AZ ‘s caliber. A true gamer and winner.
Travis plays with obvious joy and an electric smile and style. You would be hard pressed to find a better teammate. He has really refined his shot and his ability to score. His three point shooting is vastly improved. He can still make passes that most players cannot see or even imagine. A truly gifted Point Guard who will have a monster senior season at Deer Valley High School.
Highlights
A smooth left-handed Point Guard with an innate ability to score and make plays when it matters most. A deadly player in the pick and roll: he stays calm no matter what type of defense is thrown at him. A patient and smooth scorer who dictates the pace of play.
He plays with a confidence and swagger that belies his size. He has exceptional handles and can dish it with the best of them. He has a great step back three and his range is virtually limitless. Look for him to have a tremendous freshman campaign.
David exemplifies the joy of basketball. He always plays with a big smile on his face but don’t be fooled—he plays as hard as anybody on both ends of the court. An athletic wing he will add depth to St Mary’s and will no doubt be a fan favorite with his high-flying dunks and timely blocks.
Uriah Tenette Uriah Tenette 5’10” | PG Prescott | 2025 State AZ is the unquestioned leader of Prescott basketball. An extremely gifted and athletic point guard Uriah can do everything on the basketball court. He had a very good summer with his club team and looks to be primed to put together a historic junior season. Look for Uriah to lead Prescott High to a Grand Canyon Region title.
Mason Hunt Mason Hunt 6’5″ | SG Bradshaw Mountain | 2024 State AZ is one of the best players the Grand Canyon region has seen in years. Mason is a natural scorer capable of getting his shot whenever he wants. Look for Mason to challenge Uriah Tenette Uriah Tenette 5’10” | PG Prescott | 2025 State AZ for Grand Canyon Region player of the year. Mason will undoubtedly receive increasingly more college attention as the season progresses. His size, athleticism and character make him an invaluable asset to any program he is a part of.
