[player_tooltip player_id='1561925' first='Andrew' last='Jensen'] is a name to know in the 2026 class. This past summer he competed in the Hard Work Region with “All Wisconsin”. He showed the ability to not only protect the paint on defense but dominate it on the offensive end on a game to game basis. Andrew participated in a few major invite only camps such as; Western Illinois, Green Bay, and UW-Madison. More recently he has received his very first division offer from Bryant University.

The wiry forward stands at a towering 6'9” and has gained an identity as an anchor in the paint on both ends of the floor. He has a next level shot selection and chooses winning over selfish stats. This past summer circuit he quietly averaged a double-double and showed up in clutch moments for All Wisconsin.

Jensen has a bright future ahead of him playing in a tough FVA conference and practicing alongside a solid roster of upperclassmen. We will see him making leaps and bounds in the near future. Gaining experience handling the ball and picking up handlers full court in summer ball will likely add to his versatility this fall.

I was able to catch up with Andrew to get to know his grind a bit better. Here's what he had to say.

What have you learned in your first high school season?

The biggest thing i have learned was the importance of being able to space the floor. The value of having a solid 3 point point shot is probably one of the biggest factors in today's game.

What are you most excited for about your sophomore season?

I feel like we have a pretty good chance of going deep in the playoffs, with a chance of winning a state championship. We only lost one senior this year, and have many returning players with a lot of varsity experience.

What does your off-season consist of?

My off-season consists of strength training and workouts. A typical workout has ball handling, form shooting, slot threes, and free throws.

Who inspired you to start playing basketball?

My mom forced me to play, I wanted to quit up until 6th grade.

Who is a player that you study and learn from?

One player that i look to study is jayson tatum. He's a 6'8 wing with guard skills which all just make him that much harder to guard.

Who is your favorite player?

DeMar Derozan.
