As noted frequently, Prep Hoops Florida aims to provide adequate coverage of all athletes for college coaches At All Levels for readers to evaluate. Let’s get into some of the stats, and Hudl films from some of the rising prospects.
Garrett Watterson Garrett Watterson 6'7" | SF Bolles | 2024 State FL | CG | Class of 2024 | Bolles | @Garrettwatt5
Height: 6’7
Watterson has proved himself to be a consistent shooter with a good frame for the next level. He’s a smart hooper that makes the right play more than often. Solid handles and a good motor to get at it on the boards on both sides. He has the upside and would be a good pickup for a lot of colleges.
Kohl Rosario Kohl Rosario 6'5" | PG Florida Christian School - Miami | 2025 State FL | CG | Class of 2025 | Florida Christian School | @kohl_rosario |
Height: 6’5
The Dominican potential playmaker is one of the more underrated prospects in the South Florida region playing with Florida Christian School. He put up real solid numbers last year, recording 16.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. Will eventually have his name on the radar with more in-game film, but with his size and work ethic some colleges need to hop on board early.
Patrick Liburd Patrick Liburd 6'5" | SG NSU University | 2025 State #218 Nation FL | SG | Class of 2025 | Sagemont Prep | @rickyluburd_10
Height: 6’5, 180
A true under-the-radar prospect, Liburd lit it up during the spring and summer AAU periods, landing his name more than once on a standout list. Liburd hoops for SOH Elite in the off-season where he has shown off his deep bag of skills on both ends of the court. He’s a tough and physical guard that can attack the basket or use his size to finish strong at the rim. Has seen a recent uptick in college interest but can really see a huge jump with a consistent and productive junior fall season.
Gabriel Timmons | G | Class of 2024 | Gateway Charter | @GabrielTimmon12
Height: 6’0
2022 stats: 9.2 ppg | 4.2 rebounds | 4.0 assists
The Gateway Charter junior rising product has been a reliable piece to the puzzle for his AAU squad this off-season where he’s had time to develop his overall game. He’s already a solid three-point sniper and a playmaker with the rock who can see his game take the next step with more work in the gym that will translate to his senior season.
