The best players in the 2024 in-state class competed under one roof this past weekend. Here is part 2 of my quick scouting notes I was able to compile.
Howell was one of the smaller guard at camp this weekend but was really good on the ball. For his size, he is really athletic and can be explosive on the ball. Also was pretty knock-down in the mid-range.
Highlights
Gustin was easily one of the more athletic players that attended this weekend. Just has incredible bounce to his game and uses that to his advantage when attacking the rim.
Highlights
Besides Bidunga, Benter was the best prospect in the gym this weekend. The Purdue commit used his strong frame very well when attacking the lane and was making moves to create scoring looks. Was one of my standouts on Day 2.
Highlights
Murans is one of the more fun players to watch due to his length and elite athletic ability. For the most part, he shot the outside ball well but was more impressed with how crafty he was when he would attack the lane. Cut really off the ball.
Parrish may have been the most natural athletic guard at the Kyle Guy Elite 24 camp. He was one of the more pure scorers in the gym and showed incredible bounce around the rim.
Highlights
Zellers was arguably the most smooth big out of the group at the Kyle Guy Elite 24 Camp. Thought he was really solid on the pick-and-roll as well as stretching the floor. Lot of potential in Zellers.
Highlights
Bowels was extremely explosive on the ball this weekend. Motor was high and his elite ability to push the tempo was one full display.
Hood was one of the more athletically gifted players in the gym this weekend. Scored extremely well off the dribble and proved that his jumper is getting better. Made a ton of athletic plays as well. Great defender.
For the most part, Pardon shot the ball really well on Day 2. The recent Bowling Green commit was one of the more natural wings in the gym.
Caskey is an extremely athletic guard that has long term 3-and-D potential. Was also one of the better rebounding guards at the Kyle Guy Elite 24 camp.
Garner was one of the hardest working players at the Kyle Guy Elite 24 Camp this weekend. Deafened very well and was using his strong, physical frames on the offensive end.
