Owen French
I’ve had a chance to watch French a few times. The high IQ, unselfish wing, showed decent offensive skill, finishing around the basket with each hand. While he does have some PG skill with his passing, he was most effective playing off the ball, catching and slashing downhill.

I was impressed with both Wells offensive skill and physical tools. He has good size and length and displayed a decent handle. He was able to use the bounce to get downhill and showed the ability to complete his layups off drives. The active wing had one of the quickest second jumps that I saw on the weekend.

I didn’t get an exact height on Flores, but he has some size on him and was productive. The first thing that stood out was his Grab and Go ability, as I have the image of him snagging a board and pushing the break on repeat in my head. In addition to his rebounding his defense was impeccable, he was good in 1 v 1 situations, sliding his feet well. He was also able to get some passing lane steals on defense, allowing him to once again display his open floor abilities.

Ulrich stood out because of his headband, and his size and length didn’t hurt either. He runs well for a player his size, moving fluidly and already showing a willingness to sprint the floor. He was a solid defender, showing the ability to protect the rim, getting a ton of shot blocks in the game I saw.

Carris was one of the more competitive players I saw during the event. The PG was not shy about getting them up. He made some, he missed some, but the results didn’t stop him from being a dawg on the defensive end. The Jitterbug point guard did a magnificent job with his on ball defense, forcing opposing ballhandlers into turnovers.

I didn’t see an awful lot of best, but I liked what I saw. At 5’7 he has some size, and he runs well. He even showed decent hands for a player his size, catching some tough interior passes. As he improves his around the rim finishing ability, look for him to be definite sleeper to keep an eye on.
