SPRINGFIELD, VA — The DMV’s 2027 class was well represented this evening at The St. James. Here are my GameChangers from the event.
Jonathan Bell | Gar-Field (VA)
Bell is a 6’1″ guard who made winning plays on both ends. He was a game-changer primarily because of his exceptional passing skills and his willingness to compete defensively.
Ricky Goings Ricky Goings 5'9" | CG Lanham Christian | 2027 MD | Lanham Christian (MD)
Goings is a 5’9″ guard who stood out as a game-changer because of his on-ball defense. He applied relentless pressure on the ball throughout the day.
Kai Roberts | Gainesville (VA)
Roberts is listed as 5’6″, but that doesn’t stop him from getting in the paint and boxing out. He was a game-changer because of his attention to detail and willingness to do the dirty work.
Jordan Taylor Jordan Taylor 6'5" | PF Bishop McNamara | 2027 State MD | Bishop McNamara (MD)
Taylor changed the game with his efficient finishing ability. He also played consistently hard which was one of his main selling points.
James Westervelt | John Carroll (MD)
Westervelt is a versatile 6’3″ forward who was a game-changer because of his physicality and hustle. He also proved to be a threat from three with his feet set.
