Jonah Lawrence Jonah Lawrence 6’3″ | CG Providence Day | 2025 State NC is an emerging name to get to know in NC’s 2025 class after running this summer with Team Curry. He’s a 6-foot-3 prospect that can operate quite well already at the lead guard role after putting up 20.3 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 3.6 apg and 1.1 spg in 2022-23 as a sophomore. He’s a name that’s due to grow in the Charlotte area as he finds his confidence leading the backcourt this season, look for his recruitment and stock to grow in NC’s 2025 class. He’s an underrated guard that can play at a high level, when he finds his consistency, he’ll be unstoppable.

Wesley White Wesley White 6’7″ | PF Hickory Ridge | 2025 State NC is a versatile name to watch this season after showing off his development this summer on the grassroots stage. He’s a prospect that’s shown he can operate in the paint as well as make things happen as a ballhandler on the perimeter. As he shows he can operate at different roles at the forward spot, he’ll be a new name to get to know in the Hickory Ridge rotation after spending 2022-23 at West Cabarrus.
Rue Chapman Rue Chapman 6’1″ | PG Southwest Onslow | 2025 State NC is an emerging name to get to know out of Southwest Onslow High given his knack for making things happen off the bounce and as a defender. He led Southwest Onslow this past season as a sophomore with 15.5 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 3.2 apg, 2.7 apg and 1.3 bpg. He’s a two-way guard that really gets after it with his athleticism and energy on the hardwood. As he develops his outside shot and shows consistency shooting the ball, look for his name to grow out of the Jacksonville area.

Jon Mwanda Jon Mwanda 6’3″ | PG Heritage | 2025 State NC is a 2025 prospect that’s set to grow into quite the player for Heritage High in 2022-23 after getting varsity experience this past season. He had a strong grassroots campaign with Garner Road Select as he showed off his ability to defend and knock down shots at volume when given opportunities. He’s also relentless getting to the paint and making things happen in traffic, applying constant pressure on opponents. He’s a young name in the 2025 class with an offer already from Radford.
Zymire Spencer Zymire Spencer 5’10” | PG Pinecrest | 2025 State NC is another backcourt name to keep an eye on in the 2025 class out of Pinecrest High. He had a busy grassroots season this spring/summer running with Sandhills Machine out of the 910 area. He’s a high IQ guard that knows how to get to his spots off the bounce and make things happen as a scorer and playmaker. Defensively, he plays with a ton of energy by constantly looking to make his presence felt. He’s a name for DII and DIII programs to get to know in the class this upcoming season.
