Cat quick point guard flew up 20 slots in the rankings update. Pretty simple reason for this as he had not been evaluated in over a year as plays at a non traditional high school that didn’t play games in Illinois along with only seeing him on film in the spring. His performance at Summer Challenge confirmed what the buzz had been which is his elite speed and shot making had elevated him to another level. So fast end to end regularly going coast to coast for scores. Also has deep range on his three point shot.

Tyler created a lot of buzz with his play this summer. Small guard that is a flat out bucket! Range on his shot to well beyond three point territory. He is a microwave type scorer that can get buckets in a hurry. Speed with the rock in his hands getting to the cup sneaking in the lane for scores.

Hill is almost for sure going to go the football route in college as he is a top 50 prospect nationally. The Centralia native transferred back to Illinois after spending his first two seasons at Vashon. Hill will be the go to guy from day one for Althoff as a defensive minded guard that can shoot it off the catch and get others involved with his passing.
Cameron Thomas Cameron Thomas 6'3" | PG Mount Carmel | 2025 State IL (Mt. Carmel)

Thomas is another prospect that moved back to Illinois after spending a year in South Carolina. He meshed very well with a veteran Mt. Carmel group that is going to be a threat to go downstate. Strong bodied combo guard that can score from multiple levels and is a willing player to get others involved.
Lorenzo Shields Lorenzo Shields 6'2" | PG Simeon | 2025 State IL (Simeon)

Shields is primed to take on a much larger role this season for the Wolverines ‘ last=”]’ last=”]. Long and lanky combo guard that is effective playing both on and off the ball. Slick ball handler that creates off the bounce getting in the lane for pull ups and is a monster on the defensive end!
Kyrese Lukens (Herrin)

Lukens was excellent in July with the Illinois Bears showing off his IQ for the game, leadership, and playmaking. Definitely knows how to get others involved while still getting his own. Crisp pull up game from two and three along with being able to stretch it out three.
