When Whitehaven lost Julius Thedford Julius Thedford 6'3" | SG Cordova | 2024 State #186 Nation TN [no Cordova HS] to transfer, it seemed like they would take a step back. You can’t just lose a Top 5 player in the state and be the same. Right?
Whitehaven is again stocked heavily with talent.

Austin Peay loves Whitehaven incoming forward Ottabwa Dickson Ottabwa Dickson 6'7" | PF Whitehaven | 2025 State TN , offering him a scholarship after BCAT Team Camp in June. The 6-foot-7 forward is springy and active under the rim. He does not really have any shooting touch outside 6′ to speak of, but his impact on high school games will be tremendous. Reminds of a Nerlens Noel-type.
Despite his height, Dickerson can put the ball on the deck a little bit. He is still raw, but he is not a stiff, ‘vertical-only’ young talent.
Cameron Brown Cameron Brown 6'6" | SF Whitehaven | 2025 State TN (Whitehaven) is really high energy. Standing about 6-foot-5, Brown likes to attack with the dribble and finish around the rim. His game is raw though disruptive. The team is tall across the frontline and Brown’s mobility at his height allows the Tigers to play numerous tall players and not get exploited defensively.
Highlights
Dorion Bowen Dorion Bowen 6'5" | PF Whitehaven | 2026 State TN (Whitehaven) is similar to Brown in that he is tall but also able to handle some. The two are certainly capable of playing beyond high school though refinements are needed. Bowen averaged about 15 ppg last year behind Thedford’s 22pg.
